This is not a fake HTC G1.

SciPhone has spent a lot of time with this phone, and no one can blame them because G2 is not similar to G1 at all.

It has fake android. But android is free, so it should be allowed to copy it.

Seems like HTC cant make a G2 now, they will have to make a G3 :)

Dude this phone is fake chinease shit.

They could of put REAL Android OS on here if they wanted to, the code is availible for free. This phone is not a G1 G2 or G3, this is no related to any GPhones or Android. It is a fake, the UI looks like an android skin for an LG VU, the phone sucks. HTC will be the only ones making gPhones, BUT other carriers like samsung will be making phones with Android on them.

The phone has a slower processor and would not handle Android. Thats why with the money from 1 G1 you can buy 3 of thse, becaus eof hardware difference. Having a free software is not enough if you don't have something capable to run it. and you wont have something capable to run it when you spend $100 on parts

Wow trying to be an ass on youtube your so cool huh. You can edit and modify android OS as much as you want if you know how to, and get Android working on this. They have videos of Android on low end phones already so do your research. Going to school has nothing to do with it, im in school now and yea were sooo learning about cell phones and crap. you can get the android to work on mostly any phone, of course including this. just like you get XP to run on a P1 processor computer. the point is it would boot and run too slow.. that is if it even boots successful without resetting.

4. i'm not uptight on youtube, im uptight because i actually helped build/tune this phone i know its goods and bads. by the way, android didnt have a touch screen keyboard at the time (i dont know now) so no SMS.

thats because 2 things:

1. the guy's an idiot "hahaha, hey lets piss on this review"

2. he doesn't have a clue that the screen is not thermal touch (not iphone like) so if you want a mechanical touch screen -> aka this phone to work you have to use slower and firmer movements. that takes care of the TouchFLO

as for any other things he missed if there are any, Sciphone is notorious for not calibrating their screen from factory. click->click->click->fixed... its in the settings somewhere.

Not a copy, it looks better than G1. G1 looks like the lowest part is about to fall off. If it is a copy the only copied thing is android.
