@elusive712 If you buy it, buy Sodium Dichloroacetate, not Dichloroacetic Acid. If you do get Dichloroacetic Acid, you MUST dilute it in water to about 10% and then neutralize it with sodium bicarbonate. The acid is a strong acid and very corrosive and dangerous to your body. Add sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to your 10% mixture of acid and water. Keep adding until no more bubbles appear. Let it sit an hour then add a bit more to make sure no more bubbles appear. Better, get help!

@elusive712 I am a former diabetes research guy. This is intro chemistry. DCA is a strong acid because the chlorine atoms are electronegative. They "pull" negative charge toward themselves. Thus, DCA loses its (H+) much more easily that acetic acid does. That makes it a much stronger acid. Since it is an organic acid, in the acid form it is lipid soluble. Thus it can get into your tissues more easily than hydrochloric acid, for example, and do damage. Hope that helps.
