  • Like any wrestler from Canada, Edge has my respect as an in-ring performer, but his real-life affair with Lita and his spat with Matt Hardy (who I don't care for, by the way) was used by WWE to shove him down the fans' throats, which really tore away much of my respect for Edge, to be honest. Him going along with WWE's policy that controversy sells made me lose respect for him, and Edge being a great wrestler made it even worse for me. His Rated R gimmick was just plain sick and indecent to see.

  • @CMY187 I gotta agree with you, I found WWE playing it up as just being HORRENDOUSLY tasteless. Even if we smarks know what's going on they REALLY did NOT need to address it in a storyline and DEFINITELY not have it play out like it did.

  • Downward Spiral 11#? You Realized that he finished Vader whit that move? Just Sayin, but good video ;D

  • @JaimzBond His lack of use kinda dragged it down the list.

  • Thank you Mikko for doing a video of my favourite wrestler. It is great that Edge and Christian borrow each others moves, both in WWE and TNA. And btw, the You Think You Know Me theme is confusing as hell.

  • my fave wrestler of all time ^^

  • ROB ZOMBIE NICE CHOICE MAN

  • WWE=

    WE

    WANT

    EDGE

  • i want this awesome guy back!!

  • come back edge

  • 35 - this is spinning HEEL kick not spinning WHEEL kick

  • you´re the best Edge..

  • realmente es el mejor, you´re the best Edge..

  • Ee

  • 13:03 OMGUH!

  • its called a sit-out not sit down powerbomb

  • @HelixKarlos

    Sitout powerbomb

In this variation of a powerbomb, the attacking wrestler puts his opponent in position, then slams him down in a sitting fashion. This is also called the Sit-down Powerbomb.

As usual, the terms are interchangeable.

  • @IAmTheMikko

ohh sorry im only new to wrestling i only started wtching it about 7-8 months ago..

  • @HelixKarlos It's perfectly okay, the only way to learn is to hear new things. lol Little tip, don't trust too blindly in what the announcers say, Cole STILL can't tell a Sidewalk Slam and a Side Slam apart the right way around. :P Merry Christmas and hope the hobby treats you well.

  • I like the fact that you've put the brood theme :P

  • @Burkose Kinda had to with how long the video ran. XD Or I coulda reused a music, but... mnaaah.

  • @Burkose Kinda had to with how long the video ran. XD Or I coulda reused a music, but... mnaaah.

  • why is it when a wrestler starts to work hard and not stand behind a gm ( vicky geruo ) they are good at the job then retire

  • Man.. It's a shame he retired just when he was becoming my favorite wrestler -_-

  • @SinisterSnake95 Fingers crossed that he'll pull a Shawn Michaels and heal better than any doctor woulda thought he could, then come back for another amazing run.

  • @IAmTheMikko He is older now, than HBK was then, though.

  • I see basic basic basic moves all over this

  • Great video! If someone will tell me that Edge can't wrestle,I'll show him this video to prove that Edge can do it very well!

  • Perfeito!

  • One hell of a video from one hell of a Youtuber for one hell of a wrestler!

This was a brilliant list saw a lot of the Edge vs lance Storm two Great Canadian Wrestlers and two of my faves .

Plus he has one of the most varied move sets of all time from powerbombs to diving clotheslines to big boots the list goes on love th Edge -O- Matic on Evan Bourne plus his Big Boot is very good and suits him because of his height. Loved that gourdbuster from the top rope but my favourite move his Edgecution.

  • @TableTopWrestling I'm glad to hear you liked the vid. :) Edge was a tremendous wrestler and absolutely deserves every minute I spent on this video to pay tribute to the talent he showed us.

  • Great list. Did Edge actually use the Overhead Belly-to-belly outside his program with Angle? It always seemed that he only used that move on Angle as kind of a "I can do this too" moment.

Also would have been nice to see the older version of the Spiral, back when he swept the leg with the move.

  • @gametosave I think it mighta just been an 'anything you can do I can do better', but heck, with 40 slots I could afford it. lol And he DID get pretty crazy height on it. As for the Spiral, yea, I really wish I'd found more material of it, but I just did not see him doing it. Shoulda maybe dug around more for old matches of decent quality, but i did spend like three weeks from starting gathering material for the vid to finishing it. lol I wuz slow. :P

  • and WTF where is the sommersault plancha he ended someone's career with that move in his debut match!!!

  • @MrEdge4Champ2 Aaaand that's why it's not in. lol No, actually it's because as far as I can recall I've never ever seen him DO it.

  • @IAmTheMikko He did it twice in his career as far as I can remember, but if I were you I would just ignore the comments of youtubers bitching.

  • @Rastafarienkidfinney Pretty sure MrE4C mighta been kidding and even if he wasn't, I don't mind discussing my videos or wrestling in general. :)

  • @IAmTheMikko 56-58 it looks pretty cool and it should atleast be in top 15

  • @IAmTheMikko i can't upload the video but just look up his debut match in WWF and how he won with a count out after that move

  • @MrEdge4Champ2 I'm aware what happened.

  • @IAmTheMikko so it should've been in that list right ;)

  • It's funny how the crowd always cheer for the spear, heel or face

  • @frandseib Kinda like how Flair's Figure Four, or most anyone's really, gets the 'woooo' more or less regardless of the context. :P

  • The Spear as Nr.1?!? definitely not my taste

  • @SuperDragonICP I debated that with myself at length, but the fact is that it's gotten him most of his career's most important victories and is VERY flexible. I DID fail to include a clip I meant to of him spearing Jeff Hardy off a ladder, which woulda nicely showcased that.

  • @IAmTheMikko for sure, the move has history, but it sucks. Flexible .... well ...

  • @SuperDragonICP Well he can hit it on any opponent facing him from most any position, be it standing facing them, as they're getting up, as they're running at him, as they're diving at him, while they're on ladders, hanging on titles... Not the biggest fan of the impact, but again, had to call it like I see it. lol

  • @IAmTheMikko Okaaaaay, but moves like teh Downward Spiral should be rated lower than moves like the Falling Inverted DDT (in the Top 10 ?!? o_O)

  • @SuperDragonICP The Spiral being an all too common move these days and me not actually seeing him use it in a match in the last, what, half a decade kinda cost that move points. lol

  • Almost certain he would be the Class of 2012 HoFer.

  • @lecmg I could very well see that happening. He got busted up while working his ass off for WWE and he's a multi-time world champ.

  • @lecmg acctually no he won't be inducted to HoF in 2012 he will be inducted into HoF in 2013 where WM 29 and HoF ceremony class of 2013 are held,he will be inducted in the night before wreslemania with trish since she is a canadian, and he will probably say something in that WM but not sure

  • Colossal video mate.

  • @MrFuckyourselfanddie Verily. ;)

  • It's a shame alot of these moves got dropped from his moveset over the years, like the downward spiral and the electric chair. Also i think some moves deserved a higher spot on the list like the spiining wheel kick and the big boot, they are simple but effective, always get a good crowd reaction and are regularly seen in his moveset. Other than that, this is a great video highlighting one of the best wrestlers in history, well done :)

  • @wheelerl1992 They both started out REALLY low on my list, but I boosted them upwards some. lol Just kinda came down to how high I perceived their impact and with the wheelkick there's the fact that it's kinda hit and miss on the execution. I picked the best clips I could find, but most times I've seen him do it more recently, not that great looking. Guess I just tend to prefer grapples. lol

  • Great video man, Still hard to think of Edge as a Former WWE Superstar.

  • @Rkomegakillz Thanks and I know whatcha mean, he'd just returned from his neck surgery when I started watching wrestling actively and I never even really considered the possibility of him having to leave for good.
