  • i wish this guy would tour in MA! Come to Boston!

  • @ bearclawhogs44 he sounds this good all the time live acoustic, but he just can't seem to get the same feel with a full band... adam hood live acoustic is a dang sure buckit list item, he just can't be beat at a gig like this.

  • Adam Hood is the real deal, y'all.

  • 'and two hours on the interstate i get quiet start to pray'

  • Obessed with this voice :)

  • i met this guy today his i think mom is a friend of my grandma

  • This is how all music should sound. I can't believe how full this sounds with just him and a drummer, fucking amazing!!!

  • Im in the process of learning to play this song as is in the vid !

  • opelika, alabama

  • incredible. great song. playing, singing, and songwriting are all awe-inspiring. "this kid's got talent." thanks for posting this.

  • dang i want this on a cd so bad

  • x2 tone deaf souless automotons disliked this song...

  • This song is fantastic. This guy's just got the blues for real and an amazing voice on top of that. I try singing this song and can never get the licks like he does. Great stuff.

  • @Jambo1134 Agreed so hard

  • Very good vocals, truly amazing!!!

  • I saw him play at Gruene Hall in November of 07. I was out in Texas by my self for an interview with the ARMY and need to hear some music. Someone told me to check this guy out. Unbelievable! Now Texas music and Adam Hood style stuff is all i listen to. No California country bullshit!

  • @trubadour81 only Texas bro... can you hear music like this

  • @LIonsrb30 He's not from Texas!

  • This is a great song! Great vocals and guitar. The rawness is so much better than any studio version could ever attempt to be.

  • Nice pickin', man. Sweet vocals, too.

  • They way he sings this song, reminds me of Van Morrison, love it

  • Love this song. Even though it sounds better on the album. Love the bluesness to it.

  • good song.

  • watch the video...chords are: Cadd9 G D G

  • this is a real good song song keep it up man you rule

  • Adam Hood sounds soooo much better live than recorded! Does anyone know if this is his song or a cover? I'm trying to figure out the chords without much luck. I agree with you, CollinMayfield - he reminds me a lot of Gavin DeGraw. Rock on, Adam!

  • cadd9 g d g

  • thanx!!

  • I came across a video a while back but I can't remember the name of the kid singing or the song he was singing.

He was a young-looking kid with glasses, and he had a guitar up on stage at what appeared to be an Apple Convention. Yes, Apple as in Macintosh.

Does anybody know the name of the kid/song?

    Thanks in advance!!!

  • College Station loves Adam! He is SO talented in any setting, with such an awesome voice.

I kinda think he sounds like a country Gavin Degraw, in a good way. I agree with everyone else, his album doesn't do his voice justice, hearing him live and seeing the passion he puts into his music is so much better!

  • ive never liked a country song until i heard this!!!!

  • @Bumpynux its Texas Country Music thats y... not that bullshit country music songs your see on GAC

  • @LIonsrb30 i believe he is from Alabama

  • @danhtown1 opelika, alabama

  • brandi this is the one

  • i love his voice!! i think he should sing me to sleep every night!

  • great song but i feel drums arnt needed in this kinda gig

  • ..let the song just sing itself..

  • Yeah he travels all over. He usually hits Steamboat Springs, CO. every year in January for the big Music Fest there that has tons of other musicians like him. His guitar playing will blow you away in person. He is an amazing singer who hasnt hit the main stream yet. Look up other songs like: Shelly, Play something we Know, Tuesday Night, Buzzes Like Neon.

  • This song on his album sounds much more amazing! I love this song.

  • False. The sound quality on this videao is mind boggeling. I can't believe the tone he gets live. Most musicians would give a kidney to sound like that live. But its good on the album to.

  • I judge people by how they play live. Adam is a pure musician no computer can make his tone any better. Such a unique voice.

  • i came across this song after a buddy of mine bought a new computer, it was on a list of sample songs that came with it. this is an amazing song that i probably never would have come across if i hadnt been messing around on that computer that day.

  • thats how i found it too!

  • Same, XP Media Center Edition 2005, I believe.

  • Oh, alright well uh yeah just.... he's very talented..

  • i love this fucking song

  • @mckeehan417 lucky! i met him once a few years ago before one of his shows and he seems like a nice guy. ever since i've wanted to play guitar onstage with him. great musician

  • That was amazing.

  • what i wouldn't give.....thank you!!!!

  • wow adam hood is amazing and this song changes my life

  • Adam has been playing at dives for a very long time... He is the next best thing to happen to Texas Country music. He deserves a record deal thats for sure!!

  • I have seen Adam several times at local bars. He has been playing for years now and still hasn't made it big! PLEASE somebody pick him up. He deserves it and his music is GREAT!

  • agrees...

i got an add request from adam on "another social network"

and being the cynic i am... i always check the quality of the requesting band...

i stopped dead in my tracks and listened to all four songs at least twice...

douglasfire28 is right... resounding thumbs up and hell yeah!

  • This is an awesome song. Adam successfully blends elements of soulful sounds, conjoined with a strong tinge of country, as he does with all of his songs. Well done!

  • I'm pretty sure this song just changed my life.

  • I usually listen to metal but for reason this song is just awesome. I wish I could figure out how to play it.

  • LOL THIS TEXAS COUNTRY

  • what a great song well performed with great vocals and tight band......I have called all the stations in Nashville to play this song.I hope they have enough class and recognition of great talent to play it.... don't give up adam

  • Frickin' tight. Love the lyrics, great voice to. Keep 'em coming Adam.

  • Adam Hood is an outstanding musician and an awesome person, I should know, he's my ex-brother-in-law!! I wish you the very best in life!

  • I LOVE this song SOOO MUCH , Ive gotten though some pretty tough shit with this song, from hating liking, loving, and forgetting this guy ! It was so hard to just live that way, to think we were s close, but to relize it was all just "a million miles away". And to "both agree, know sometimes life gets down on me" it all just oddly fits to my situation and its really funny how you find those catchy songs that tie in with your life, I'm glad I found this amaing song,{-april}lol

  • hell yeah best song ever if you ask me

  • I can't get enough of this song. Finally an artist that can sing really good and has songs with meaning

  • one of my favorites

  • I love Adam Hood! I love his music, and his lyrics are so wonderful!
