  • what is better c7 or n900 ?

  • is it anyway possible to get a mobile custome designed by nokia?

  • A 'Mobile PC' N900 that can't even work well in handling its own phone & sms function, what a shame...

Used to be a supporter ever since 3310, until tis MYR2k spent buying a HANGER ...very last time for a Nokia, who sell experimental products & HANGER.

  • N900's Multitasking is an effective Endtask function.

N900 With the 'X App is not responding, do you want to terminate' 30 times a day , it's even better than all the HANGERS add up in my cupboard!

No wonder Nokia works best with Microsoft, sure MS could help sorting the same issue they've solved years ago!

This is the piece of Sh*t I've bought from Nokia 9 months ago, wasted my MYR2k, getting back tons of frustration.

  • why does nokia put an infrared port onto n900??? =='

  • is gps free?please answer.

  • yea

  • @DRAMA4884 yes gps is free with all nokia cell phones. it depends on your location that which country you live.

  • the song on the phone is called fuck it then lol

  • is it my weed or is this guy exhausting to listen to?

Good review though :) I think,,

  • cant they make physical keyboard phones thinner,, i mean,, id prefer physical keyboard than virtual actually cause it wont have to take anymore space on your screen,, ive been waiting for a smarthphone with phykey to be thin and ill buy one for sure,,

  • HAHA Phone Contacts, Megan Fox.

  • i have the n97 would it be worth buying this?

does anyone have this phone the can tell me the pros and cons please

  • @bigkmart17 Pros: -Fast Processor That You Can Make Faster. -High Res Screen -Kickstand -Incredible Multitasking -Great Apps -Straight Forward OS -Great Camera -Totally Customizable -Great Graphics For Games Etc -Good Keyboard (Depends On Preference) -Pretty Good Speakers -Incredible Browser Cons: -Size (Depends On Preference) -Limited Phone Features -Resistive Screen (Depends On Preference) -Late Bug Fixes -Not As Much Apps As Other Phones -Lags Sometimes, But Not Alot
  • guyz im boooooored of uzin dis gadget ........!

  • don't judge the phone by it's design.. judge them by performance... :]

  • is this a good phone cuz im thinking of getting 1 of those???

  • @MicroCutie1 it's amazing

  • Ugly phone. I don't want to be seen with this piece of brick.

  • @chonaV True.

  • nice phone...but it's too heavy to put on my chest (becoz i always wear sliderope for protection)...

  • I just got my hands on it - sorry this thing is just too chunky :-( (but os seems interesting though)

hopefully nokia will get their act together.

  • i hate your accent

  • Pervert.

  • its fuckin fat

  • @taurusxaries id say PHATT

  • does ne1 know how to edit song details like song title album info, genre etc.... on the n900, i used to be able to do it on the nokia n95 by options, song details etc.... how do u do on the n900

  • lol @ 4:28 I started hearing an operator in my head

  • looks so confusing!

  • can you download and play podcasts on this?

  • haha xD

  • FUCK iphone and its apps! This thing is a beast of a device, it will be many months before u get used to its hardware capabilities, by then software should be good!

  • Ew it looks really thick.

  • I have an iPhone.... And it's great

However..I am a bit of a tech freak and need a device that can do more than one thing at once... Ie. I can't surf and listen to spotify or use any two programmes at once..... Which in this day and age of smart phones is intolarable.....

I am going to have to this powerful device

  • nice music you guys have there)))))

  • haha! the screen displayed the word "fuck" lol

  • n900 = ps3

    iphone = xbox 360

n900=complete package into a great phone

iphone=incomplete phone that has outdated features camera 3mp WTF for a £500 phone OVERPRICED.

iphone is a toy for kids

n900 is a mobile computer for people who want the best out of a PHONE and a mobile computer not a toy to put games and animations for the moment.

N900 OWNES IPHONE FACT (had an ipod touch for 2 years got n900 2 days ago and it blows ipod touch/iphone away) :)

  • @XIRONTIGERX You dont understand how good it feels to here you speak the TRUTH like that in public. I second every word you said. i had 2 iphone over the years. and even my Nokia 810 is better than a iphone. N900 is the Absolute best!!! FACT

  • was wondering how a resistive screen would compare to a capacitive (having never used a resistive touch screen) when i got the n900 i was supprised at how the responsivness was it was very good using the stylus is a pleasure and overall ill give a capacitive 9/10 n900's 8/10

  • Thanks for letting me know what to expect. I had 600 bucks on black friday and there wasnt any reviews back then to i bought a Dell zino hd. but im goin to buy a N900 when i do my taxes for sure.

  • you wont be disapointed trust me very nice and easy to use ui camera is great i had n95 8gb before n900 both have same megapixels but m900 pictures seem better looking video is great no choppy framerate in video recording (ignore complaints) one thing i realy noticed when i got n900 is the screen its soooo sharp i was amazed video palyback is unreal on 900 has never crashed on me and nokia will release a new firmware soon giving more bettery life and a performance boost so yeh definatly get n900

  • @XIRONTIGERX shut the fuck up fanboy. everyone knows that 360 has the best games, and 99 percent of all multiplatform games are best on 360. and games are all that matters when it comes to gaming.

  • what the fuck are you on about i have a 360 only for the exsculsive games especialy gears i meant by things like ps3 having bluetooth internet free internet service so you shut the fuck up fanboy

  • Xiron:

This phone looks sick! Can't wait to get it.. I had 2 questions though:

    1. How long does the battery last?

    2. Does it cost money to use its GPS Directions software? I need to drive a lot to many new locations in the nerby towns and use GPS alot. If this phone can do that for free or relatively free it would be awesome!!

    Can you let me know?

  • @dalesalsa

Nokia's OVI maps software is free. You can use GPS without any bills.

  • @Pietuu

    ~Thanks Piet. ~

  • @XIRONTIGERX

How do you feel now? LOL

  • As usual Nokia again come up with clunky heavy brick and screen prone to dust formation. I was deciding my purchase between N900 &

iPhone 3GS but purchased iPhone 3Gs due to below N900 flaws

1>Even brick will take shame by looking at the size & weight of N900 the form factor alone is enough not to buy N900

2>N900 has Worst touch screen I have ever tested, u have to touch many times to open app

3>Very slow as compare to iPhone 3Gs

    4>No exchange support -- Intolerable

  • i have an iPhone and can't wait to get the n900 for christmas, iphone users are in denial and think that its the best phone ever when its not. i hate it, always get onscreen messages saying sim card not installed and then i cant take it out and put it back in because it needs a 'special device' to take the sim card out, which is so small i can never find! also the home screen is so plain and boring.

    N900 > iPhone

    apple; stick to making ipods

  • @A7eX92 Have your N900 worked well?

  • I would love to get this, even though i might not use internet so often at all :( its a perfect phone xD

  • what is the name of the movie?....

  • I got mine! Finally! Immediately I had problems! Phone would not connect to wi-fi with WPA key, I don't know why! I tried using free wi-fi at a Panera branch, worked well, and the desktop $#!++ they always talk about? True! But that does not take away the fact that I can't use WLAN at my own abode! Any suggestions? Coz I already tried everything!

  • @m01132

Throw your ugly brick or return

  • wpa is not compatible with wireless G. you need to use WEP protection and it will work just fine. Dont blame the phone cuz you dont know how to set up the proper wifi key. lol

  • Give me Megan Fox's number pls :D

  • Toshiba first 32 GB micro SD card

  • Haha, I couldn't help but notice the nelly song at 2:16

  • gotta get this sweet thing for sure

  • Haha what you doing with Megan Fox's number? :P

  • @SpiderWoman14 howa lucky he is :p

  • It has now been released!! Well yesterday, so what, it is availible now!!!! :)

  • Can't wait to get it!

  • for me this is the best cellphone... i really like os and ui... and i think this phone is just great

  • I was all ready to get myself an N97, but after reading and seeing reviews, I could not do it. I hope that the N900 is what the N97 should have been. I know that the OS on the 97 was a huge problem, so I think that the Maemo will be a marked improvement.

I am a little worried about the keyboard though. It looks small, and it only has 3 rows. With the size of this device, I think they could have made a full 4 row qwerty.

I could buy this if the multitasking is good.

  • its amazing that you still have to use a stylus, its what almost 2010.

  • It's amazing that people like you still think you need the stylus - you don't need it.

It's a very sensitive screen, without being oversensitive (Like the iphone - brush it by accident and a random program starts)

  • You'll probably never need to use the stylus anyway, the screen responds very well for a resistive. Saying that, its nice to have the option of using one.. especially when web browsing a site with lots of clickable links.

  • thats why im going for the HTC HD2 :p

  • Mmm. Good luck with Winmo...

  • "It's amazing that people like you still think" WinMo is the worst that can happen to you...WinMo is a great business operating system and thats exactly what i need the HD2 for...basically, if your some kind of online addict that likes being stalked by all your friends via Facebook, twitter...go right ahead, the N900 is perfect for your 24-Hour "online as it happens" needs...I'll be just fine with the HD2's 4.3" capacitive touch screen and its 1GHz snapdragon cpu...talk about mobile computing.

  • WinMo has not evolved nor progressed for 6 years. The HD2 is basically run by WinMo 6 - and how on earth do HTC expect you to navigate those tiny tree menus in the root, when they have produced the first Winmo device without a stylus, and on top of that they're using the less accurate capacitive screen! If they put Android on the HD2,i'd be interested, but Winmo just cripples the Snap, and "Great business OS with 512MB storage!"

  • You seem a little outdated...WinMo 6.5.1 is extremely finger friendly...oh and about the storage, i think HTC included a 32gb capable MicroSD-HC slot for a reason...and i think thats more than enough for business users' contacts and emails...

  • No, not outdated at all - Winmo 6.5 still faces critisism for not being finger friendly enough. Just on the homescreen for example, the battery, "ok", message etc icons, are so tiny that even with a massive screen, anyone who has larger fingers will struggle - that goes for a lot of features including Windows media player. How much will a 32GB card set you back these days? It's personal choice of course, I just don't see what the HD2 can do that the N900 can't and I prefer a keyboard.

  • 32bg and i think there is a 42...or its a 48.

  • c'mon guys relax... i mean is just a phone, is not a girl to fight for... i dont think that one is better than the other i just think that they are made for different people, winMo is clearly for business users and maemo looks like is for all-day-internet-connectivity users(twitter, facebook, etc.) as you know one is better than the other in something (the cam of n900, the screen of hd2), if you have the money why not?, go ahead and buy your best for xmas

  • True...but the HD2 will always be my girl =p

  • I just cant wait to get this to my hands!!! This aint phone. This is computer what you can use calling.

  • 0:35 - Did he say 6Mhz ?

  • this phone is gonna change the phone world

  • i wouldnt buy a computer that runs at 600Mhz....i just wish this phone had a capacitive touchscreen and Snapdragon innards...now that would be a phone that would change the world.

  • lol at 2:19 theres nelly song called fuck it then

  • Well i own a n97 and i can tell you this phone(n900) is far better.

CPU , GPU ,Full Flash support and more...

BUT it not support MMS and theresnt any big pool of apps or games (except bounce).

Fisrt we have to wait developments to start create apps for this platform.

Number of apps is the only advadase of iphone vs n900

  • With it being open sourced Linux based OS. They'll be plenty of apps getting developed for it. :) only a matter of time..

Besides, majority of iPhone apps are beyond stupid and/or gimmicky. Only a limited number of them serve any real purpose.

  • why?

  • If You Have At&t, The N97 Is Better.

  • its ok, but FAT. i better use on screen keyboard, but i will have slime phone.

  • I want this, only sad thing is expensive mobile internet in my country.

  • Man i just wish this thing came out already. Been waiting for 2months and half already. And also it is not going to be released to ASIA or Any other continents other than North America and Europe. Wot a fucking bullshit... I want this in ASIA NOKIA...

  • fucking love it !

  • It's better then n97.. but I think HTC HD2 is better..

  • YOU SAY SAY IT MAN ;) HTC HD2 is great..

  • ignore all the comments from the apple funnyboys

  • if i was an apple "funnyboy" i would be buying an htc.

  • That explains everything... iPhone user... You Keep on playing with your toy...

  • Comment removed

  • @Feircejaguar actually bounce "3" or something what's in n900 is pretty good. It's better than some ps1 games and there's very smooth but clear picture and there's gonna be so cool games on n900 and it have bigger screen than iphone. btw htc and nokia beats iphone 3gs but iphone was best touch screen phone some years ago

  • can u make a call like on n95 ? or just sms ?

  • yes, you can make calls

  • nice phon but too much money in this hard time

  • sell sum crack nigguh

  • guys join the community as we want to get big. But we need people to join the community. maemo-nokian900(.)com

    Great Video:)

  • this must be expensive as shit!!!

i prefer to buy some clothes than a new phone

  • I want this so much!

  • can it play flac or ape?

  • It's open sourced, so all it needs is for one developer/fan/geeky type to say "I need flac or ape." , and it's available to the community, free of charge mostly.

  • HD2 Owns this Brick

  • Yeeaah, riiight. Because Windows Mobile is soooooooo good. Oh, and the "Brick" is narrower and shorter than the HD2 - go figure.

  • HD2 running on phone OS

N900 running on Desktop OS - go figure.

  • then whats the software os does n97 have?

  • symbian :/

  • lol bullshit it's linux maemo you fuckin halfwit, go back to iphone and jerk off u jew

  • Comment removed

  • maemo isn't a desktop os... it just has the power of one, supposedly.

but linux is so far > windows, that hd2 is not really an option in comparison..

  • Already had mine on pre-order for a while

  • Best phone ever. I'll buy one.

  • I love your accent

    Marry me :o)))))

  • ummmm ok :D

  • Great preview, as always!

  • lol

  • beautiful review,...

also very positive .. thanx !

  • haha nice song choice 2:03 :P

  • n900 sieht ja echt gut aus.. gekauft bzw vorbestellt !

  • Is this the same narrator? Sounds more professional. Kudos!

  • 2.57 Dana White lol

  • 00:32 he says 6MHz, lol.... this baby is running on a 600MHz dude..

  • just try to look what developers already tested on it, its definitely not boring ;)

  • Hardly boring.

  • nice device!!

  • its not better and its not worse. mb in terms of hw the nokia is little bit better.

  • Has a better qwerty, thats all.

  • yeah it is, i dunno why they cant do it more like motorola droid which has same hw but is much slimmer

  • HahAhAhaH Motorola is a toy thats why is Slimmer, noy only Motorola all devices compared to this one are just toys!!!

Selling my 3G Iphone, anyone interested?

  • ok xavierid, just give me some relevant arguments why it is a toy

  • Ehh, he said "all OTHER devices are toys" not the N900 =)

  • i know you moron, i was just asking for arguments why motorola droid is a toy

  • It isn't all that big. It's about the same as a Nokia N97.

  • so it is a phone?

  • Phone / internet tablet.

  • small

  • well, its a nokia .... nuff said =)

    very nice indeed!

  • best phone ever!!!

  • amazing device!

  • Man that's a good phone. Thanks for the review you guys! And now I'm stuck with my Omnia HD. It's a good phone as well, but I'm suck a Nokia fan by heart. Haha can't wait to switch my phone with someone.

  • MrDigital You're stuck w/ an Omnia HD? Don't worry. Knowing Nokia, as soon as the N900 gets in our hands, rumors of a better product will surely depress us.

    Thorough review. Perfect phone.

  • Yeah that's what I hate about phones. But I do think I'll be content with this one.

  • so cool!

  • First.
