sorry, here is the only Mado Robin ostia or the street and no one can interpret it as her for her stratospheric coloratura, perhaps the only Mexican nightingale could be the Angela Peralta, unfortunately that will not know, because there is a recording of it, but of all existing Mado Robin and nothing else.
But regardless, if you listen before Callas, Lucia was sang to show the voice ... when it appeared Callas gave meaning to the character. That only after her, Lucia tok a sense tragic, sad ... mad, but of coloratura ... was as written by Donizetti. Thank to her appeared all those sad, amazing and famous Lucias.
And she kas the most perfect timing and pitch with the flute by far than any of the others. I miss her terribly.....or at least her equal in talent....I fear she is irreplacable!
My all time favorites are Sutherlan, Dessay, and Claycomb, not in that order necessarily, but to me Callas is like chocolate cake, I'll have it any time!!
I always found Callas' voice rather dark for Lucia, but, after all, it is a dark role, and Callas brings, for her, the usual remarkable insights to the character. I agree with your mention of Galli-Curci in second place (for me, she is first place). Her performances are often overlooked as lacking depth but listen to the phrasing, the pure legato, the unique delicate touches no other singer provides.
Callas could still sing this music quite beautifully in 1952. Galli-Curci's technique is amazing. Moffo is appealing. I heard her sing Lucia on stage in 1966, two years after seeing Sutherland, and her performance seemed pale in comparison. But on a recording, it works.
I also heard Moffo sing the role on stage, and she was marvelous I thought. Not as spectacular technically as Sutherland (few are), but a beautiful voice and technique as well as characterization.

This the aria "Andon glisenti", justo before 'Spargi d'amaro pianto' of Lucia di Lammermoor.
