The problem with Ron Paul is that he is used to sell the Republican party platform.
There's a typical bait-and-switch strategy in the works for the GOP and Ron Paul's brand of libertarian thought, which is actually rather popular, is going to be used to swindle the masses into voting for a right-wing corporatist policy.
@tsetterbo why does he have to have the R next to his name to get a vote? He was on the last ballot. There are more options than donks and elephants, imo we might be better off if we start taking that into consideration when we vote.

It's a shame, I think that was a one time thing. I don't really know of any other constitutional candidate that would run for the GOP's nomination.

Gary Johnson, former governor of New Mexico. If he loses vote Libertarian. A vote for priniciple is not a wasted vote
