@Picardy U2 hasn't cancelled their tour, U2's USA tour has just been postponed until next year, this summers European leg of the tour is still on! And in my opinion the price of U2s tickets aren't any more expensive than other big name acts like Madonna. It's not about being greedy it's about covering the costs of such a humongous stage production and paying the wages of their hundreds of employees!! What Bono does as a private citizen is his own business and has a right to express his opinion!

I like his humor in the first bit. But its more like a "wait and see" tone because why rush when it could be more damaging than good. Most of the U2 blogs were wrong about the accurancy of the band's return (August). No one's-at least the lay people-know for sure. so hold ur tixs and wait until new dates are confirmed. I wish Bono a good recovery.
