Na gut diese Szene zum Schluss hin spiegelt wieder wie man sich vielleicht ein Irrenhaus vorstellt. Schlecht ist dieser Version nicht. Mir jedoch zu hektisch. Aber ich finde die geänderte Version besser, weil sie viel ruhiger ist. :-) Schließlich sollte Elisabeth im Vordergrund des Geschehens stehen und nicht die irren.

der endton fehlt in der alten version... das finde ich total schade. was ist mit dem letzten satz?

hier singt sie nur "als wäre das leben mehr als nichts nichts gar nchts"

Hier mal der Text, weils so unverständlich klingt: Ich wollt ich wäre wirklich du, in der Zwangsjacke, statt im Korsett, dir schnürn sie nur den Körper ein, mir fesselt man die Seele, ich habe gekämpft und mir alles ertrotzt und was hab ich erreicht? ouch, das passt ja gar nicht zum Rest dazu. Die Szene in der heutigen Version ist grade deshalb so ergreifend, weil sie so ruhig ausklingt.

this version has only been played in the first season. i also think, that the longer singing part is better, without all the dancing, but i like it, though. it reflects the mental state of elisabeth, is free, outgoing and expressive, whereas the "new" song is more about self-restraint and very controlled.

And the crazy woman just repeats her words and then elisabeth demands that the crazy woman bows to her and the crazy woman starts screaming how outrageous that is and that elisabeth should be taken to a madhouse.

the new version of the song is a lot stronger (and longer) than this one!

and the chaos is weird - most of the emotions of the song get lost!
