I use a specialised technique when playing these pieces...I play only the first and last notes and..(this is the big secret) then PRETEND that I've played the other zillion ...whereafter I set fire to my left leg (to bring myself down to earth) and wait for the funny looking men to take me away.Try it,it really works!!

Well what you can do is arrange it in such a way that you can play it. Of course, you will need to keep the leaps in the left-hand, but you can alter the middle section. And why not change the octave glissando to a normal one just to start off?
