  • Your more info link is down. What is the blitz tune called? AXXESS? My supra had this blitz sticker on the hood when I bought it that said "Super computer tuning powered by blitz" up under the word AXXESS. Just wondering if they still support it.

  • @supra60

sorry about that il update the link to my SF build thread.

  • mines about 300 at the wheels at about .97kg/cm2...when it's runnin'! dynoed 287 at .6xxxx. just multiply by 14.223 for psi!

  • Still got this beast?

  • @turboa sure do bought it back

  • so techiniclly its a 7m-gteu?

  • @DirtridinElCamino

    no, just a Turbo-A 7M-GTE in a MA70.

  • where is the numbers

  • if i swap in 264 cams, 3 inch exaust, bore it to 30m, with a t3/t4 turbo. how much horse power do u reckon ill kick out the rear wheels??

  • @Suprakidd1 You should keep your ct26, this turbo isway more efficient than a stock t3/t4. If you want more, just upgrade it with another wheel trim in the stock turbo housing. just visit driftmotion.om there you have all you need buddy.

  • I have a question i have a mk3 engine that was bore out to 20m with wiseco pistons and balance Arp studs pin shot the rods... he said i can boost up 18 pounds safe how much HP will you guys think i can get. So now its a 3.2 engine

  • @expex20 depends on your turbo.. you will have a slight tourqe increase and less lasg with stroking it. 18psi should be around the 400-430hp at the wheels depending on the turbo and other bolt on mods you have. as well as the tune

  • @eightyeight1 Thank you i will let you know and post a video for the results =]

  • @expex20 .5mm overbore is standard. 1.00mm overbore is the limit on the thin wall. That is .040" over. I don't think you are bored 20mm over. Maybe you mean .5mm, which is .020" over.

  • what computer are you running. FIC, piggyback, standalone? ? ? ?

  • @mikemike198909

it was using the Turbo-A 7M-GTE ECU with a Blitz remap. (no afm, map sensor ECU)

  • @eightyeight1

    Hey mate,

Do you know what needs to be done to change to a turbo-A ecu?

    Cheers

  • stock block?

  • yes, its the stock Turbo-A 7M block, internals would have been changed though.

  • dont let cash for clunkers know about this!!!

  • ese carro no sirve

  • Have you done any head work on the engine to get it to rev that high, or is the head stock? I have a 1991 Supra and I generally shift at 6600 rpms with the rev limiter also set at 6800 rpms like yours, although I'm wondering if I should lower it. The head on mine is stock.

  • as far as I know the head is completely standard. Remember this is a Turbo-A 7MGTE engine though.

  • almost all 7mgte's are turbo even more to be worried about as far as headgasket's go, just words of the wise

    Corrision2142

  • @CoRRisioN2142 All 7MGTEs are turbo,, if their not their NA 7MGEs..

  • @CoRRisioN2142 Well, all 7mgte's ARE turbo. That's what the T stands for in the middle. The non turbo is the 7mge.

  • @Sorchestra yea t usually stands for turbo

  • @CoRRisioN2142 Let's approach this mathematically. If t "usually" stands for turbo, then I guess you're correct in saying "almost" all 7mgte's are turbo. But since we've concluded that t always stands for turbo, then ALL 7mgte's ARE turbo. Fair enough?

  • @Sorchestra Yea buddy it's fair :)

  • @CoRRisioN2142 Hahaha, pardon my sarcasm.

  • @eightyeight1 The TurboA block was as prone to head gasket failure as the standard 7Ms. Perhaps just better looked after.

  • u seemed to be revving quite high, how much rpm was this?

  • not sure my tacho doesnt work lol.

  • rev limiter is set at 6,800

  • redline should be round 7250rpm anyway :)

  • Incorrect.

  • in australia your looking at about $1200-1500 if you can find one..

Im actually aiming for about 500-510rwhp and IMO that is really pushing the limits of the 7mgte unless you have heaps of money to throw at it. Plus i also have a metal head gasket and forged internals.

  • thx.. ima end up getting 1 cuz i dont wana be runnin down the road and my tranny go out under all the pressure.. but ive seen a few people run w58's with 7mgtes.. the only problem is a loud ass rattle! n i dont wana hav 2 replace it later

  • I'm about to purchase an ma70 7m, how much hp can the stock internals handle? (i realize i'll have to replace the head gasket most likely)

  • these motors are very good just sort out the head gasket. aleast retorqe it down a couple of NM more. standard bottem end can handle 500hp just put in new bearings rings etc. just dont get any detonition as it will kill any motor. weather its had 30.000 dollars spent on it or not. good luck with your car

  • what mods?

  • t78-33d turbo, trust FMIC, greddy type-r wasgegate, 3" exhaust, GFB boost controller. R154 5-speed.

Also i should mention that run was at 19PSI. capable of much more.

  • thx im buildin a 7mgte for my 85 celica gts LOLzz.. i gotta w58 5 speed i never hurd of a r154?? n im just tryin 2 find a few upgrades b4 i drop it in

  • i did have a w58 but the R154 is much stronger and came on the Turbo A ma70 supras. AFAIK the w58 can safely handle up to 350hp.

  • im hopein to get a lot more than 350.. i atleast wana get 550+ how much is a r154

  • r154 is the stock supra tranny bro....

  • R154 is the stock TURBO trans. w58 was the stock NA :P

  • sweet you did no internal engine work? im building a 7mgte 240 right now but have been told many times to get new pistons and rods atleaste. My current 7mgte has greddy HG only.. what do you think

  • nvm that comment im on the forumz lol

  • I had planned on doing that to my 82 Celica GT. I ended up buying a Mk2 supra. Dropping a 7mgte in there.

  • hah nice theres

this sic vid of a 7mgte in a tacoma beating a mustang. the truck had 18psi of boost

  • keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!
