Thanks for this review. I only just heard about this game as I noticed this was recently listed on the Steam Platform Client for the PC for only $9.99. Despite this, I might get on the PSN anyway.

Because of the type of game it'll probably play better with a pad.

But either way it's an amazing game, and Sidhe say that the Steam features will come to the PSN (Like co-op) at some point, which I hope it right :)

"Brilliant". I don't think so. The bosses are cool. But need more offensive powerups and more weapon creativity. Music is extremely repetetive. They should have hired Ronald Jenkees to compose it. It's an OK game nothing revolutionary.

@DEIVION212 ok now i am back to a problem after watching ur top 10 PSN games, i am going to pick up Shatter but now i don't know if i should get Pixeljunk shooter or Zombie Apocalypse. I am looking for co op games, which would be better to pick up first?

Well ZA is much longer and will offer 4p co-op, Shooter is very unique and amazing to play but I'll be honest, I done it solo. Didn't try co-op at all.

Great review buddy!! Very informative, This game is great,,,until you get to the Boss trophy, then you change your tone. So everyone BEWARE!! By the way do u have that trophy Demon212?? If so how many tries, I got 10:16 or something like that and almost lost it >=( *sigh*, but still won't give up on getting this flippin trophy though =). 5/5 stars.

Decent little display of a fantastic little game. I'm only about half way through Shatter and I'd say it's definitely a must-have PSN title all things considered. It's hella addictive, the soundtrack is worth the price alone, it's nice combo of Arkenoid and not-quite shmup gameplay with boss battles and IT's ONLY $7.99 USD.

I don't have a PS3 so I can't get this one, I would say it's a shame, but if there was no console exclusivity, then there would be no point having several consoles.

Yeah, but I do think that the 360 shouldn't have any exclusives, because I want to be able to play the games on it, and you can't do that witha 360 because they die.

a fair point to be sure, but let's be fair, if that were the case, microsoft wouldn't be in the industry at all. That being said, I hear microsoft has finally figured out how to stop it, and all new 360s (soon, not yet) will not get the red ring or other recurring breaking problems. I hope so.

I know what you mean about RARE, I can't help but feel banjo would have been better treated with ninty, like in galaxy, the beach bowl galaxy really reminded me of treasure trove cove, but I digress.

And the 360s breaking is a shame, it truly is, but if they fix it, then everybody's happy :D

Woah, this looks awesome.

The whole thing about sucking the ball to your spaceship thing reminds me of one of the minigames on that Crash Bandicoot party game on the PS1. 'Cept you have to get the ball into your opponents side of the field.

Well to be fair it technically sounds like a SNES game, because Bliss came from Top Gear/Racer. Brill SNES game, check my vid because I make a point of mentioning Bliss and showing off the music :)

I enjoy and appreciate you reviews, and especially this one since I was very interested this game. Since you encourage your viewers to ask questions, I have one.

Can you estimate how long the game is? I keep hearing about 90 minutes of soundtrack, but that's not necessarily indicative of gameplay length, and of course reply value doesn't factor into my query. I know it just came out, but when you've completed it (if you haven't yet) could you round off the play time for me?

I never time myself so it's hard to say, but it can be pretty quick to get through the worlds because it's just a bat and ball game, so it depends on how long it takes you to get the last damn block really, lol.

But I do think it has enough to be replayable and for it's price it's very fair. I mean I've bought more pricier games that weren't as well made or that didn't last me as long either.

Although I do think that a VS or CO-OP mode would've helped.

I picked this up, I dig it so far. Do you use the d pad or the analog? I find the d pad more precise but the analog more comfortable when using the shoulder buttons.
