Sharath is a great music director.Malayalam film cannot justfy why he was not given enough oppurtunties .After a long gap he did "thirakatha" songs,which was excellent as well.All the songs he has touched become gold. Ofcourse a bright prospect and talented guy in the genre of Raveendran & Devarajan

Some of Sharath's best works have come from the T.K.Rajeevkumar's films. Sharath's melodies just like Venugopal's melodies have a long staying power. Sharath's wife once commented on hearing "Sreeragamo tedunnu" from "Pavithram", "Raveendran is a musical genius". Sharath told her "It is my song."

inspite of all negatives about this movie like direction, picturisation of songs, hero, hero's friends etc. the songs became evergreen, thats the quality of sharath's music.

I second that. The direction is by T.K.Rajeevkumar. There was one particular scene that I liked. The girl's father went to the boy's father and suggested him to hide all the girl's letters. The boy's father went to him and showed him all the letters he had been hiding from his son for 3 months.

I felt the picturisation of this song "Akhashadeepam" was good. The acting was terrible. When the actors act badly, its difficult to see the movie. Sitting through this movie was a pain even if it was for this song only.
