  • I would've rather been rick rolled. Where's the burnout?

I do better burnouts with a self propelled push mower.

  • Where ist the smoke?? 512HP should be able to burn the street.

  • 26 sec. of my life i will never get back...

  • @MotorCityNova unfortunantly for you, that's what she said... lol

  • @762SLR762 Haha, you guys made me laugh reading all these comments.

  • um noob much, sorry buddy thats not a burnout.

  • WoW? :o world of warcraft?

  • Guys, you dont get it: it says "Burnout on car show", there is now car show on the video and that means there is no burnout :DD

  • @762SLR762 wat da fuck does that mean dawg ?

  • @762SLR762 Poor grammar too, priceless. And where's the plagiarism? Is this another meaningless tangent to claw back some credibility?

  • @762SLR762 Writing LOL all over the place just makes you look like a child. Doesn't help.

Although I won't piss on your bonfire, you must feel good now after your fishing game.

  • @762SLR762 I haven't admitted anything. I debunked your arguments ages ago so I'll claim that. If this fishing nonsense was your game then 'well done'.

  • @762SLR762 Keep biting!

  • @762SLR762 See my previous ones. Man up.

  • @762SLR762 Must do better than that? You seem to be talking in the second person. Therapy for what? Having a laugh picking on a handful of Vette fans once in a while. I'd say you need therapy, you're obviously far too sensitive for a debate. Man up. You're another one in the keep net.

  • 762SLR762: "Car fans are psychotic and I like to speculate your private life".

I actually do have a partner if other men's sex lives interest you. Apparently you're now resorting to insults in the absence of any constructive comments. Is that because your "I owned one so I must be right" argument has been exposed as being both weak and almost irrelevant and you're intimidated by the truth? I think so. If you can't handle the fact a Corvette is inferior then that's your problem, not "psychosis".

  • @762SLR762 I must have commented on another 3 videos in the last month or so, not really psychotic. Even if I was on every single video it wouldn't be psychotic. I could probably find you on just as many if I tried.

I'd say you're in denial when you rub off every documented fault because your car apparently didn't have it. A Corvette is masturbation for you, can't accept the faults.

  • 762SLR762: "I show my anger by writing lol in capital letters".

It's common when someone's beaten. That alongside labelling someone as a psycho for criticising the Z06 kind of says it all. Now you're trying to tell me I'm in denial when your argument was basically, "well my Z06 was fine so they must all be like that" and when I listed common and well documented complaints regarding build quality etc you dismissed them all out of hand because I haven't owned one. Ironic.

  • 762SLR762: "I project my insecurities onto others"

You did that when you started labelling YouTube comments as "psychotic behaviour". That in itself shows intimidation and insecurity to label Corvette criticism as "psychotic". That's truly one of the most stupid things I've ever read in my entire life, so I don't think you should be giving any advice if criticism gets to you so badly. Not very bright, are you? Either that or it's a very desperate and pathetic attempt to bully me off a thread.

  • @762SLR762 What's really funny is the way you compare someone leaving anti Vette comments to psychotics like serial killers and rapists, like some kind of crime that warrants a life sentence in prison. That's by far the funniest thing I've read in a long while. Apparently you need a partner or therapy (unlike me) if someone on the internet leaving comments ranks along side dangerous criminals.

I'll write something positive when I see something positive, not a ladder framed Corvette.

  • @762SLR762 Yeah, and to reiterate my point, does that mean road testers don't lack credibility if they don't own the car they test? Saying you owned one means nothing. I could have easily lied at the beginning and said I own one so by your own admission it would make me credible by default, no matter what I said. See how daft it sounds when I turn it round on you?

To me it sounds like you're intimidated by my arguments to label a few YouTube comments as "psychotic behaviour".

  • @StuRaz Haha, you guys made me laugh reading all these comments.

  • @762SLR762 You said I couldn't say anything unless I owned one, so it's exactly the same. Clarkson has tested it twice and said the same things, compared it to herpes and bird flu. And if I remember correctly he gave it the car of the year for being "a bit of a surprise".

  • @762SLR762 Last time we spoke I told you I'd driven the Z06 that belongs to my friend and he agrees, but loves the car nonetheless. Every road test I've seen complain about the Z06 being far too intimidating, more than any other rival car, at the limit when the grip runs out and you rely on the chassis and tuning.

By your logic no professional car journalist has the right to do his job unless he buys the car he's supposed to test.

  • @762SLR762 If you're trying to say I can't talk about Corvettes because I haven't owned one then that's very weak as well. ALL road tests I've ever read including other owners say it's very twitchy and prone to oversteer at the limit, generally difficult to control (down to the box frame and leaf springs), all complain (owners included) complain about build quality too. Just because the car moves doesn't mean it's well built. I'll grant yours were sound but that doesn't speak for all of them.

  • @762SLR762 I haven't owned one but a friend does and you probably never pulled on the dashboard to notice how easily it comes off. I didn't until recently. The leaf springs are there for cost cutting purposes, like the box frame. If GM truly believed in them they would use them on the C6R but they don't. If performance is purely lap times (which the Vette apparently requires professionals it seems in order not to crash) then it's a 'bargain', for driving experience and handling I disagree.

  • @762SLR762 I've found with every Corvette the build is awful. None of the panel gaps match, the interior trim is poor and the fit and finish is even worse. The dash just falls apart with a tug because it's all held together with glorified paper clips rather than screws and bolts. You can buy Ultimas and other cars for that money that do the job even better but none of them are arguably good cars. The Z06 is cheap because it's poorly engineered; box frame, leaf springs etc.

  • @762SLR762 I have a feeling I've spoken to you before on here. I wouldn't say a Corvette really beats the crap out of anything. The build quality is awful and the box frame chassis really doesn't help it at the limit or in a crash, it cuts a lot of corners to be fast on a track. For that money I'd take an M3.

  • @762SLR762 Interesting.

I'm assuming you're aware a ZR1 sells in the UK for about £120,000? I've just found one on the Pistonheads classified website going for £90,000 after just 3,000 miles. It's lost about £30,000 already. I've don't think I've ever seen a car of any kind depreciate that badly.

  • Where the hell is the burn out?

  • SLICKS!!!! :D

  • burn out my ass

  • ...so where is that burnout? xD

  • wat burn out more like driving

  • Where the fuck is burnout???

  • u have no idea what burnout is dumbass

nice car tho it was insane

  • buy it now and lose 25k in the first YEAR ..this car is crap..

fast but crap..... 54k for a 2007 eat your heart out viper...

  • first year?!?! you mean first few months lol had one and same thing happened

  • No Corvette is "crap". Don't take this personally: Your ignorance is what's crap. For the most part, "automobiles will always make for poor investments". You should know this; the world should know this. Whether it's a Corvette ZR1, Ferrari F430, Porsche Carrera GT or any other. It makes NO difference, buddy. You'll lose thousands every time. Depreciation is in the nature of these beasts. Drive a Lamborghini to and from work every day and see what happens to it's perceived value. It sinks!

  • depreciation dosent make a car slower ;)
