to me, if i wash them, hang them, and treat them like my best pair of pants, when I put them in someone's head they're already prepped and halfway straightened because of gravity during the drying process. If you leave them horizontal, or roll them up, its not really hanging naturally like it would on a person's head. They'll last you a lifetime if you hang them! Plus, if you hang them, you can curl them days before you go out!

@decharmedfreak my friends tell me about all sorts of companies like indique, foxy locks, jessica simpson etc, but i've only tried The Hair Shop, His and Hers,Racoon, and THE SLAUSON SWAPMEET BABY!!! I would love to try more one day, maybe if I can get my hands on some i'll give some reviews ! They're all really good, its all about how you tailor it to you head and get them cut. Its about creating a great shape along the perimeter as well. its 90% Of how you take care of it as well!

You just have to be educated on how to style it quickly and effectively for your hair type. In older times, mother/daughter used to do a lot of hair techniques together passed on by tradition, but with the absence of roller sets and pin curls, styles have evolved into more of an undone look, maybe you can teach your kids how to love their hair too!

@xtootsiedoodlex Good Question! I ESPECIALLY DO THIS FOR CURLY HAIR EXTENSION! I hang them first damp, and scrunch them like I would real hair so that the waves clump normally. You can diffuse them too if you like, but if you hang them vertically, the waves drop a little bit because of gravity when its wet. If you don't mind, hanging is the best! but if you want to keep the curl super tight, let it dry on a paper towel horizontally first, then when they are dry you can hang them!! xoxoxo
