  • how big are their fur balls?

  • Narrator: "so yea, the monitor was there and he was like oh shit, and so they didnt do much just chilled there and the lions were just hanging out and the lions were like wtf but then whatever, so each went their way and ahh they continued whatever they were doin" THE END

  • For some odd reason i kept of thinking of a Jesus Lizard instead of a monitor lizard and it was an amusing site.

  • Thumbs up i you fell asleep cause of his voice

  • @fadinho89 if lions saw a komodo then you'll know they'll shxt themselves lol, but knowing how tough, big and bad a male african lion is, he'll fight that komodo for whatever it takes to defend his pride, himself, and his territory.

  • Wheres 0:25!

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • lions are so beautiful. i just wanna jump right in there and play with them

  • @jjyykkzz Was almost certain that you were wrong about that (everything I'd heard on TV/internet had said they weren't venomous before). Glad that I looked it up. Never knew that Komodo's had venom along with the bacteria, makes me want to stay the hell away from them even more now.

  • are there any predaters of monitor lizards?

  • @magnificentmagikarp it depends where the monitor lizard is really. Komodo dragons are part of the same family (The Varanids) and they have no natural predators but here, in Africa, Monitor Lizards are most likely to be predated upon by Raptors (such as the Martial Eagle) or an opportunistic predator such as a Leopard. It really depends on the size of the Lizard in question though. A big Monitor Lizard will have very few natural predators.

  • @earthtouch thanks

  • @earthtouch, a big monitor lizard would have any preator.. lions can kill them easly hyenas, leopards,, the problem is as you see.. here the lions doesent know what it is ;P

  • @DonChilenito true but many things dont know wat a monitor is so they are curious and get driven away

  • Lol imagine if it was the other way around. Lion cubs fend off monitor lizard.

All the hypocrites will be here screaming "ANIMAL ABUSE" for not helping the cute fluffy lion cubs fend off the big ugly lizard.

  • @jaimecruz666 Not all cats...Many Tiger species love to bath :)

  • @earthtouch yeah forgot about tiger thel love swimming lol thank you for reminding me

  • @jaimecruz666 pwnd :P

  • It's, then, assumed that all of the 7 cubs --- from the big 15 little ones, of 3 slightly differing age groups.... who managed to survive at the time of the kill of an ellie calf --- were now these almost-full grown & healthy cubs? Given how big & powerful lions are, their cubs' over-all survival chances, from babies to young adults, are almost as grim as the smaller & frailer Cheetah cubs, too, then. Given that Cheetah mothers always raise their cubs as single mothers, that's pretty remarkable.

  • sooo cuuuuute

  • They remid me of their smaller cat friends

  • I wish my employer opens a branch in the safari of africa.

I would move in same day.

  • the reason lions are unsure of what to do with a reptile is because it's scent is very decieving, and unless the lions are familiar with hunting reptiles, they get confused about what they are attacking.

  • @jjyykkzz Try 10-14 foot long.

  • Africa.... so beautiful.

  • Not even lions would mess with this monitor lizard.

  • it's in their genes. it's even in ours. fear of snakes is the most common phobia, just ahead of spiders.

  • any1 else see the frog at 1:30?

  • @iwimp1994

    No

  • Is this guy trying to impersonate William Shatner?

  • Those lions got owned.

  • yeah...just one bite from their saliva full of bacteria

  • now we know what lions are scared of. snakes and lizards. what if these lions saw a big komodo dragon.

  • @fadinho89 haul ass man...

  • I definitely liked it. So the lions wouldn't eat the lizard and purr while licking themselves, it was raining and the images were ok. Nice camera. I also like his unusual voice, sounds like someone who's been in the wild.

  • Lizards rule.

  • this guy is retarded

  • ...the cubs are cute... :-)

  • man its discusting when the lions lick them selfs

  • did anything even happen in this video? Its like watching someone read a book

  • not what i was expecting... but ok. cute lions.

  • wow that was... interesting... *coughs*

  • Is that you Arnold?

  • lions are scared of lizards just like how elephants are scared of rats.

  • MANNN....thiz guy made it sound sooo borin..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Dude It really did. Sounded like he was falling asleep in mid-sentence.

  • Watching this vid in HD in the dark is really awesome. I'd like to go traveling one day...away from lions and other things that will try to bite me in the ass.

  • wernt that exciting zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • The commentator sounded a bit... amateur?

  • im sure if they were hungry they woulda tore that thing to pieces....

  • reptiles are patient

  • thought it said "feeds" lol.

  • the narratior tries to give this very...powerful feel but, lol sounds like shit!! boooooring ass shit!!

  • your boring Kartiknv

  • i bet he's a hell of a lot better than u, maybe he is learning? ever thought of that

  • god forbid you ever go to the African floodplains.
