wow how can anyone hate this! i am too tall for the pony i ride, but if you look at HOYS/Olympia nearly all M&M are ridden by taller, bigger people! so they cannot possibly advertise 'Cruelty at the top equestrian events in great britain so people who say your too big obviously have no idea. i know a girl who continuously rides her thoroughbred in a saddle thet doesnt fit, people who do that should be posted!
anyway rant over :D your an amazing rider, its tough riding ponies with short strides.
i know, im sure a horse would rather be happy, comfy and have a taller person on rather that an idiot who beats thier horses or one with harsh/improper fitting tack! Thanks for the compliments (: x
@shermanadlula i no rite, i ride the caspians in the stable somethimes to teach the new 1s how to jump small like 1-1.3 jumps and its not like im killing them, i dont think her owner is gonna wanna put a tiny 3-5 yr old on her when she still get excited to jump
if it was a long term thing with you jumping 3ft plus then i'd get pissed off, but i had my old pony back to sell last year and i had to ride with my stirrups on the last hole as she's a 128 and i was 5'7'' then so I was a little bit big, but I only rode her for 1 week and then she went to her new home with a 9 year old. i took her to a show and jumped up to 2'9'' with her, but she was would have been dangerous for a small child if she hadn't been ridden. don't listen to people who know nothing!
those people are obviously just jealous of your amazing riding!
You ride him really well and he always looks happy when hes working too(:
I used to ride an 11.2hh when i was a bit smaller than i am now and i was too tall for him but he still carried me with no problem, and used to bronc and everything too, so i agree with what your saying, i mean do they think that 5 year olds just jump on and thats them backed?!
