  • Puberty had a lot to do with this.... 16-21 is critical in lifting because that is when the most testosterone is released and its harder to gain muscle at an old age

  • actually thats false guys can keep producing a huggge amount of testasterone up until age 27, and usually its alot easier to gain muscle in your 20's becuase guys get "adult" strength and your body is fully formed

  • yah dude, not every day, if u are a bigginer just do exersices that work more than one body part, pull ups, push ups, benching, low weight reps wight will tone, and heavy weight low reps with pack on the big guns.

  • work out 4 times a week, 3 days for ur body to rest. and what what u want :).

  • make sure u get ALOT of protein.

    protein help drastically with soreness and will build ur muscles quite a bit faster.

    also make sure u get plenty of rest for ur muscles.

    i do a 3 day split

    1st day: usually back and shoulders

    2nd day: GUNS( biceps and triceps)

    3rd day: chest

    i dont do legs cus i dont need to right now and i only get 3 days to work out.

    but ya thats my 3 day split, the rest of the week is rest time and im never ever sore when i go back to the gym (:

I'm pudgy I guess, I have been running a mile when I wake up, play tennis sometime during the day, lift weights right after tennis then end the day with another mile. I have lost six pounds since I started.

  • awesome vid, im on the same boat as you dude! i wasnt quite as big as the first pic, but somewhat close, i was 205. then i got down to 155, and was really skinny. now im at 160 from putting on muscle and am only about 6 months into my transformation, cant wait to get back to 205 but from muscle this time.

    then build muscle.

    just google search for beginners blast off, it's a very good program with a weekly workout plan and a diet.

  • hey man..dont worry, youre not the only one struggling..the best way to tone up without killing your self completely and saving tons of money is a $15 sauna suit, and run or walk fast, ride a bike..just get that cardio going like crazy..itseasy to cheat on treadmills but you cant cheat on the ground..no fast food, cut ur portions smaller and eat maybe 4 or 5 meals a day if you can,but small ones..dont eat 3 hours before bed and if you eat allot do it in the morning so your body can burn it off..
