Joachim is a wonderful man - tender, sensitive and fundamentally upright and good. If his first wife treated him as do most Hong Kong women their husbands, then I marvel that he stayed with her as long as he did. Princess Marie will be a perfect wife: supportive, loving and they have already much in common...the Prince is half-French. God bless them both with great happiness and many children to crown that happiness.

The music played then was Prelude in E-flat major by Johann Sebastian Bach.

When the bride entered it was "Sarabande très tendrement" from Concert Royaux (Suite No. 4) by François Couperin.

Of course you can't compare the wedding of a crown prince and the spare prince. Usually the wedding of the crown prince is much grander in scale. Prince Joachim's first wedding to Alexandra Manley was pretty large in scale because Prince Frederick wasn't married at that time. Their wedding were very similar. I wish someone had some footage of the first wedding because it looked very beautiful.

I remember that there used to be many videos of Joachim's first wedding. I was looking for them about one week ago but for some reason I can not find them anymore.

I remember there was one video of Prince Joachim and Alexandra where they enter the chapel and thats it. I do wish people post more footage of that wedding but it was like almost 12 years ago.
