Get a frames that you do like if you hate your current pair.
I used to hate wearing glasses too. My first pair looked horrible. My second pair looked alright, but were very uncomfortable. Right now I have a pair that's very, very comfortable and looks great on me too.
Glasses aren't bad. They only are if you have a pair that doesn't suit you. It just takes a bit of effort.
If you really can't stand glasses you can always get contacts.
