  • oh no! not the monkey's again! haha, they scare me^^ great music as usual!

  • This kind of music brings me into an harmonic trance.

  • Nice Job! I love it!

  • Dude you are very passionate about your music. . . I enjoy it very much!!!What kind of interface are you using!!ur Fan kenny;D

  • @kennyz6979 Thanks very much, Kenny! The Array mbira (not played by me in this video) has piezo pickup wire built in, so goes straight into the recording interface, a contact mic was used on the Hang, and the Hapi Drum was mic'd with microphones, all going into an m-audio delta 1010 interface, and then to Cubase for the DAW. and the video was edited with Sony Vegas.

  • Most beautiful!

  • I'm not a bad guitarist, - but sometimes I see or meet people who aren't just musicians: they ARE music. I'm so impressed!

    Beauty aye

  • ha ha ha check out the tabela and the santoor of Indian music...

and there can be any number of copycats but nothing to beat the maestros... but anyways I liked it and gave five stars...

  • This is amazing! I am a great fan of Tan Dun and Stomu Yamashta, so this music is right up my street. Is it possible to buy CDs? Have you ever thought of bringing your music to the the Edinburgh International Festival? I'm sure you would be a great hit. By a freaky coincidence, I was talking to a friend about the Mbira, (I am a fan of African music as well) only a couple of weeks ago. 'Nature support' or what?

  • What's with the worried expression at 1:07 ¿¿¿¿¿

It all turned out beautifully in the end :)

  • Wonderful, inspiring production! Encore!

  • I`m so jealous... I want an array mbira and a Hapi drum. If I ever win the lottery... I`m buying those the same day. Now I`ll just have to be patient.

  • Bravo, Jon and Patrick. I've been experimenting with hang, hapi and array mbira for quite some time now. What a delight to see all 3 of these magical instruments together on youtube. I may be the only one to own all 3 at this time. John, it's time for array m. Patrick ,it's time for a hapi & a hang.

I think I will order a Hapi in september, I'm still doubting between buying a new synthesizer or a hapi, hmm. But I don't have any experience with other percussion instruments, would it still be a good idea to buy a hapi?
