Though the C-119 isn't particularly rare, over 1000 were built, it was just overshadowed by the C-130. As a side note its was used extensivly by the Belgians during thier involvement in the Congo, to the extent that the rifles used by Belgian paras were specially designed to fit through the side door of a flying boxcar.
