i got to sit in one of those today, no joke! it was near impossible to get in, and the seats were so low to the ground that it felt like your butt was scraping the asphalt. i think the cheapest one priced around $57,000, then it escalated from there?it was still a damn sexy car, and i think i'll get one someday.

Glad you like my car.  I've "enhanced" it since this video (which is from a drive thru downtown Walnut Creek) and have blown up two engines since this video. I've built up engine #3 to 280 bHP @ 1870 lbs in track trim. Power to weight is the same as new Lambo LMP560.

Lotus is a good car to trick people. It looks like really expensive car. I mean really really expensive like $200K. And as far as design goes it kinda looks like Ferrari and Bugatti.(My opinion). It's cheap too. Cheaper that corvette at least

@eaglesdood16 Um.. yeah actually the Nurburgring lap time of the M5, is 8.13, lap time of the Exige s is 8.25, so FYI yes, all bmw m5 e60 beat all exige s, this is because its proven.

Im not trying to be a dick here but the Exige S is not as good as the M5 although it is sexier.

@The0rangePanda I'd love to see any BMW M series car (any M series race prepared or otherwise) come to the track and play with my Exige S ... I've made a few changes to my Lotus since then (I'm the owner you see in this video). Just make sure the M series BMW is hitting sub 1:47's at Infineon full course, otherwise it might be a boring "race" so to speak ;) If you don't know what I'm talking about, go check out some of my videos.
