How is the visibility on this? I'm about to complete my last semester in college, and I'm cross shopping this and the GTI. I know the GTI is more practical, but this car is so sexy. The only thing that concerns me is the visibility in everyday driving.

to me, i got my 2011 370z andi personally love the car, If you like the Z for the car that it is (may not have 400 -500 horsepwer ) but its got substantial power for a v6 3.7 liter engine, for me personally, you just see way too many Stangs, and comaros on the road, the Z? not so much its more of a head turner for ppl because you just dont see many on the road. i love my Z. my heart told me the Z, and i couldnt be happier with mine

@CageTheDervish In the real world, pepper spray does the job much better than any physical action in a confrontation. Plus you avoid all the headache of civil law suits and all that crap. i really like these cars, but they still don't compete with the mustang,,, the new v6 mustangs have about 305 hp, some mods is easily attainable at 330, not to mention in next couple years with the addition of direct injection, will start about 330 or so...and base v6 stang is 22k

a base 5.0 stang, which has about 405 - 410 hp will blow the brakes off these cars , and the prices is only around 30 32 k for the base

if u get a higher model z, can still afford the higher model stang,

@jstar3293 Thats true. I was also looking at the Mustang 5.0 before I made my purchase. Performance-wise, the Mustang is superior. But I decided on the Z because it's more exclusive on the streets. It's rare to see another 370z on the streets where I live. I see just too many Mustangs. But ultimately, it's preference.

@jstar3293 the 370z will hang with the 2011 around a track but in a drag race noo..but mod for mod 370z and mustang will keep up with each other ..i think the 370z looks better than the stang ..and the 2010 mustang was poop ive seen the 2011 stang keep up with a m3 around a track 370z will do same thing ..a couple bolt ons and 370z is good for around 360 ish hp

@lucirz The back has no room for people. the hatch area is small. You won't be able to fit many things in there. This car is not really for daily driving. It's my "show off" car and I don't drive it that often, usually on the weekends or special events/occasions. Buy a daily driver sedan first then get a fun car if you got money.

Very nice 370Z! Funky trunk proximity locking control with no positive feedback. The pushbutton ignition, don’t know if it could be turn off accidentally while driving on the freeway. Nice to have a spare tire too, may even able to install a sub above it just like the Bose. Pepper spray; get the military grade for maximum protection.

@StayOLDSchool No AUX cable comes with the vehicle. If you upgrade to the touring model, you will get upgraded headunit with Bose speakers and ipod connectivity. The base comes with a very basic headunit with a not so good set of speakers.
