  • this product is shit.... unless any1 can explain how to fucking set it up... this is shit that comes out of a box. WTF!!!!!!!!!

  • kev1mick's son: can you play online with people that has a network adapter but not the linksys wireless bridge?

  • this works good the speed 54mbps has to do with service provider i have time Warner but the reach is short

  • cool bur we do it better

  • will this boost the signal like a wifi expander?

  • Can I use this on my hackintosh?

  • This does not support WPA or WPA2 the settings claim it supports WPA but with the latest firmware it is still broken... You'd be way better off buying a old wrt54g off of craigslist or something and installing dd-wrt on it for cheaper.

  • @alexj977 Wii's wireless works perfectly fine and you would need an additional ethernet adpater to use this device on your Wii. Fool.

  • @grd90u it would depend on how far your wii is from your wireless router, which is why people need these things

  • the Wii is wireless already you fool

  • @grd90u its more powerfull then the one built into the wii... you fool

  • hey anyone knows if i can use the Linksys WGA54G as a REPETER ?

  • just get an old WRT54G and install DD-WRT

  • Lol

  • Hello, i have a ps3 60 gig. And from what ive read in the comment the old 20gigs didnt have built in wifi, so my queations are this...since my 60 gig already has wifi is this needed? The only reason i got this was because i thought it would extend my signal. Can some1 help me? Thanks

  • @jamato24 no way not needed> just connect it straight to your wireless router

  • how much is it

  • i have 54mbps internet speed

i can the single player of gta:san andreas on everything on max

but when i go online in wolfenstein:enemy terrotory with everything on low and then i mean everything and still i have lagg i recommend having 100/150 mbps

  • @jessiecroc1 its ur isp man, the adverage speed of a isp is 6mbps, getting 100 wouldnt solve ur problem.

  • if i have 2 routers. one in the basement and 1 in the attic is there any way to link them so they broadcast the same exact signal so it will be extending my signal instead of having to connect to both separate routers whenever im closer to one.

  • Can you get the guy off camera to explain some of that stuff thanks.

  • do i still need the network adapter for my playstation 2. The big model not the slim model?

  • You forget to mention its actually shit and requires a course at nasa in order to get it to work.

oh and if you ask for help, the only people that seem to be able to get this to work are virgins that only speak binary!

  • where could i buy this

  • how much does this cost

  • I have 50 giga bits per second on my new linksys router. Is this normal?

  • No not normally.

Depending on where you live and how old it is.

But if it works then keep it.

  • The 360 adapter is G Band....the Linksys WGA600N is N band....much faster.

The 360 will come out with a N-band adapter later in 2010 ( in black finally, for us who have the Elite ) which will lead to a $20 price drop for the White G-Band adapter that is currently on the market for the 360.

These "cheap" people....are getting the same speed for less.....you fail.

  • That's not even the one the video was talking about....YOU fail.

  • can it be use with a computer just like any wireless adapter?

  • perfect, my PS3 slim is in my room all the way upstairs and the computer is on the main floor this is what I need!

  • The new slim does not have a built in adapter???

...my 80 gig PS3 has one built in...it is rockin.

  • um, built in wifi?????

  • not with 360

  • Ps3 already has bulit in wifi dumbass. And if you don't have wifi i mean seriously.... your 5 years late.

  • eat shit fuck ass, I always had a 360 and just chged to a ps3 I didnt know it was built in

  • ps3 20gb has no wifi

  • mines 72Mbps

  • its pretty clear that this doshbag thinks randy is a dickhead

  • isnt wii wireless already?

  • hey nice vid mate :) ..... im having a problem with my xbox live ..... i have a very strong internet connection according to the xbox rating system... 4/4 but i go online to call of duty world at war and i lag like hell it says connection inturrupted evry 4 secs and then kicks me outta the game =( and iyt happends over and over again ... do you think its the xbox or the game that is damaged? if you dont know sorry for wasting your time :P

  • i bought a new router and got the same problem its because its not compatible properly with xbox

  • how the hell do you set it up

  • can u connect a playstaition2 to a xbox 360 so u can have to consuls and 1 connecting source

  • Just got a new linksys router $180 uses wireless 802.11 B.G.N.

  • Just use the wireless network adapter certified by Xbox 360 i bet it cost the same and the WNA is faster and hooks up to any Router and is super easy to hook up

  • i got my linksys adapter for 30 bucks....it works flawlessly

the xbox one is at least 80-90

  • I searched craigslist and got the Wireless-G adapter by Linksys for 10 bucks. Even there the Xbox 360 certified adapter by Microsoft is minimum 60 dollars.

  • how about my satellite receiver - will this be powerful enough?

  • what kind or receiver do you have?

if you need it for the iHub this is really good to use

  • The BEST "compatible" wireless setup for xbox360 is using the Linksys WRT55AG (v2) router and plugging a Linksys WGA54AG

into the xbox. The 802.11a kicks the sh*t out of the unit in this video using 802.11g. The main bonus about the combo i mentioned is that xbox support WILL help you troubleshoot any problems because the wireless router AND wireless bridge are designated by xbox live as Xbox Live compatible!! SCORE!

  • Anyone with experience in this, please message me. I have a few questions about this.

  • I just bought 2 cheap wireless access points of e-bay (a trend TEW-410APB and an MSI AP54g) cost me a total of £18 for both inc postage. They are plugged into yje ethernet ports of the 2 360s I have in the house as wireless repeaters, and connect through my Netgear dg834g along with my PC and my Wii with no connection probs, lag, or d/load speed problems - yes I do have security enabled on all devices, WEP and WPA both work. It's just a case of the right settings on router and AP

  • i have a wireless adapter that goes inside the pc and i am trying to play online how come i cant do it it should have the signal for wireless and it dont let me please help

  • i was wanting someones opinion before i buy this. what kind of range does it have? my modem is upstairs. my ps3 is dpwnstairs. will it still get a good signal?

  • if it got an antenna than you can

buy a better one(which is hella good)

or check out parabolic reflectors on google

  • NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE XBOX 360!!

check out the product description somewhere and it only lists the xbox(not the 360

  • it is compatible with the xbox 360, all its doing is connecting to your wireless network and turning the Wi-Fi into a ethernet port.

  • IT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE XBOX 360!!!

I have one and have been using it for over a year with my 360 with 0 problems.

Try it and see for your self. Until then keep quiet.

  • yea bitsh

  • does it work for ds

  • works for any ..but i dont know where to get it

  • what if my neiboughr has internet i pick his internet up with a little black wireless adapter thing from walmart it cost 66 bucks will it work?? please reply.. and how far does thing pick up? like will it pickup internet from my neiboughrs house?

  • Yes it will work if there network is unsecure, meaning that you don't need to enter a password to access there network.

  • it will pick it up but if he has his network encrypted then you are S.O.L It could pick it up from your neighbors house but the signal may not be that strong. Most wireless networks now-a-days are secured so might not be able to steal anyones internet LOL

  • Woow, someone drew a texta beard on you when you were sleeping, dude.

was it rampaging randy .. or what was his name again??

  • uhh yeaaaa wii has built in wireless and they didnt mention ps2. and this guy is reeeealy enthusiastic

  • ya i don't know why he would mention the ps3 when it has built in wireless. this would be perfect for people who have a ps2 or something with the same concept. without a wireless feature but supports ethernet connection. basically any semi old electronics that people still use today

  • but my ps3 wifi function is pretty good...so i dnt rly dnt need this!

  • Im having trouble getting all this...plz help

I have a slim ps2 and my aunt has a laptop with wireless internet...one of those that u get from cell phone companies they gave her that USB thing to have access to the internet...my question is can i play my ps2 online wirelessly by buying the router and not having a cable/dsl modem internet connection???

  • no u will need a wireless network

  • Nextime instead of talking about how it works y dont u guys show how it works I meen you ppl are just talking show it for god sakes.

  • Will this work 4 the ps3?!?!?

  • yes

  • the PS3 has a built-in wi-fi so you don't need this! (same as the Wii)

  • where could i get this in stores? please help!

  • i bought this at amazon for like 30$.. it has no lag and the download speeds are amazing =)

  • im gonna buy this. Does anyone know if this actually gets a good connection on xbox live?

  • how much is this?

  • bout $50 us dollars

  • sum ppl complain about setting this up for their router, they say it doesnt pick up teh signal. i highly recomend a newer router, my fave is definately the actiontec gt724wgr. its made for gaming.but ther eason why tehrye complaining is cuz the router isnt compatible for their linksys g-game. a good solution, a lil more pricier, but effective. it does exactly what the linksys g-game does, but its more professional for setting things up, if u cant get the g-game up and running, buy the WET54G...

  • yah, lol its ossum (no college degre...or retarded, sped clas :p) its about anywhere form 20$-100$. it works perfectly, but i recomend getting a cigaware highspeed usb for the mic if u use one. u see, the mic itself sends un-noticable packest oevr line and taht takes alot of mbps, with a cigaware, it comes clearer and take sup less mbps. however, the catch is u cant have a mic plugged i nwith an eyetoy, or it gets realy high mbps, too much for ur g-game bridge and it will lag like hell

  • does any1 know if you can play xbox live with this???

  • It will work with xbox 360 for sure.

  • Buy another cheap router (wrt54g*) new or used (not bricked) and load some 3rd party firmware on it. Now you have a wireless bridge with multiple wired devices connected. Plus you rarely need to power cycle. Perfect alternative for the 85 dollar XBOX360 adapter and much more reliable.

    User assembly required though.

  • thats how its gonna be for me im getting wire my wireless is dead i killed it or somthing it readomly disconnects me

  • how much??

  • how much is it

  • great when it works, when it doesn't...

  • ossim?what f'n school did u go to ?AWESOME

  • CAn I get it working if I do not have acces to the router, all I have is Wireles signal free from security.

  • I was looking for a cheaper item then the official xbox 360 one but this is 25 bucks cheaper. hmm

  • ossim

  • yeah imagine how much it costs... lol

  • its 70 bucks

  • xbox

  • so i plug that into my computer or xbox?

  • You Have To Use The Installation CD To Do It

  • How do you change the mtu setting on the wireless G. HELP!!!!!!!

  • same problem, help plz

  • where can i get 1 of these?? anyone???

  • what gamecube game is online

  • Mart Kart: DD, Kirby Air ride, games like that.

  • ps3 wont need one of those since ps3 is wi fi built in

  • the 20GB version isn't. Although the dont make it anymore, I still have one, and I need this product badly.

  • yes. the linksys adapters will for the 360.

i tried this on internet and so far i have no complimants.

even the linksys router i am using has no promblem.

however. if you have promblems with your wireless connections. i suggest to get a "gaming" wireless router to help you out.

if you need any help with wireless. reply back.

  • And for more info...

The vista home basic/intel celeron D processor 356t,will share it's ethernat port, with my ethernat cord plugged into the linksys Wireless G-dapter.And I plug the wireless bridge in of course ;)

The I plug my Xbl adapter into my 360,my question is will my wireless adapter, send the connection to my 360.If the internet system i'm using involves cord, and my dad woun't let my go to wireless.Feed the connection to the internet through the ethernet plugged in Bridge?

  • Hey could someone respond quickly!

Ok,i'm about to buy this product for xbox live, but I don't know how to set it up!

I think this is how I will connect to live

1.)plug the linksys adapter to back of computer./ethernet,and power cord on,ready.

    2.)plug Xbox 360 wireless adpt to back/fron of 360.

Will this work, because I don't know if you plug this to the 360 or the computer. And if you do plug this to my vista, will the Xbl adapter feed on the linksys adapter.

  • i currently own one of these have have for years and its been great up until now, because it wont connect to xbox live for my 360 because i need to change the mtu settings on the adapter, but i have yet to find out how. i definately recommend this product though. may not be better than the wireless adapter microsoft offers, but for your money, this is a good product.

  • this bitch sucks

i have 1, and i lag out all the time,

just spend 100$ on a good adapter, and get a great connection

  • Haha these sony fanboys are everywhere on the internet.Since they praise the ps3 so much why aren't they playing it instead of waisting time going on youtube and bitching about how much a 360 sucks XD

  • because the 360 fan boys are so afraid that the ps3 is going to surpass it that they come onto videos about ps3 and bitch it out to try and diminish it and I guess those who prefer the ps3 got sick of it.

  • 1st off all they might not be on it all day because they might have a life

2nd they can be on youtube right through their ps3

  • is this faster than the ms wireless adapter for xbox 360?

  • can i hook up a router(wired) to this to expand my ports

  • how much does one cost aprox.

  • $50 dollars at best buy im getting one

  • Yes finally im gettin this tommorow =D

  • yea u left out the part where its a pain in the ass hooking up and how ur always on tech support

  • i found a website 2 get a freee wireless adapter and free xbox live send me a message if u want it

  • hmm 54 Mbps? thats not that good. I heard about a better system like ethernet over like power lines or something? And its supposed to give you 200 Mbps over a more stable connection. It itn't wireless but it works through power lines its an alternative to the adaptors so then I guess it should be better i suppose?

  • Yeh they're called homeplugs, you don't get 200mbps though, it loses speed

  • dats y thers 1 good gameout 4 the ps3 dats y its dosnt over heat because u get boared

  • please learn how to speak and spell before you post something on the internet... makes you look like an rtard.

  • lol....360 fanboys are retarded....im not a fanboy for any Copany cause i have all 3 love Gears on 360 Halo 3 belongs in the trash though...and just go the Wii fit it has somepretty fun games on it....But overall i think PS3 is the best quality...even though my Fan level has went into the 3/5 fan level it has never overheated and ive left it on for Days...weeks even on Folding @Home when im sleeping...and PS3 has a way better line up for games. And Bioshock is confirmed on PS3

  • Ps3 is most definitely the best in my opinion, And Your right, 360's they suck, my friend had one for 2 months and it got the red ring of death, he played it 5 times... it got it fixed and it works fine now, but point is, the ps3 is definitely the way to go.

  • where do you buy it?

  • how much is it?

  • It's really simple. If you need a WIRED ETHERNET CONNECTION in a place where you can only use Wireless (IE, NO WIRES ARE RUN OR CAN BE RUN) you can use this.

    Not just for gaming systems.

WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO and it SAYS IT ALL...

  • Gamecube anit online!

  • yes it is

  • So I could hide this in a bush to get better signal on my neighbours wifi?

  • lol

  • but its not a router a usb thing

  • i have wirless g for pc will it work for ps2

  • Yes it works for the PS2

  • i have a PS3. its dont need a Wireless Bridge. PS3 built in wireless internet

  • awsome u fagget ps3 sucks

  • shut up

  • naw man go play ur ps3 and ur shit games on shitty online quality

  • ok. why xbox 360 alway overheat? then get PS3

  • i don't understand why there are clips of ps3s overheating then. any computer overheats. i have a 360 and it never over heated but a friend who has a ps3 doesn't like it because it over heats and loads slowly. plus there arn't that many games for it too. so he bought a 360 after. but thats one case out of how many others for both entertainment systems

  • DUDE CALM Down 360 and PS3 online games wise are about the same quality....what you are paying for on the 360 is the big community and the Marketplace stuff...PS3 is getting server upgrade when HOME Comes out...so maybe just maybe it will easily past XBL Quality.....and PS Store will be getting TV Shows and other stuff like that...and accessing PSN will still be free....AND THE psn community is getting bigger by the moment is im not mistaking its hit 4 Million a couple weeks ago....

  • Dude i just got a 360 this year to play Gears...but i knew 360 is dead next year cause Halo 3 will die out by the end of 09' and Gears 2 will be the last huge title on the 360 cause SONY makes there consoles last longer PS1 lasted 9 years the PS2 is still going...but the Original XBOX lasted 4 years...and the 360 will last til 09' which means it will had lasted for 4 years.

  • exactly theres no point to have this for the PS3 unless you have the 20GB Model :0

  • and i do :(

  • will this router work for an ipod touch.

    Please respond!!!

  • yea

  • i have SMC and D-LINK router will this still work

  • He doesn't even know what he's talking about, he has to read this cards hahahaha typical fucking tv sales person, only stupid people that doesn't know shit buy from them.

  • This morun doesnt even talk about the security or how you setup the router. It only offer you WEP and i can crack WEP in less than 34 seconds. If you have this people will gain your wireless network and take all your information. He never talks about the speed while doing other thing not just watch tivo. For example playing games are you going to lose connection? yes because it doesnt priotice your bandwith and give you the best connectivity. This router is lame and out dated.

  • lol that router is bullshit its only 54mbps lol that crap. Get the D-Link DGL 4300 its is 108mbps the best gaming router out there and has won like 12 awards from major magazines and cridics which this linksys has nothing but bad publisity. if you get this linksys you will have an ofoul time gaming online and alway losing connection because of how bad it is this goy is a fool. He makes a fool of him self, doesnt know what he's talking about.

  • This is GREAT for xbox 360.

  • i dunt get wot tht dickhed is saying all i kno is duno wot im doin

  • hahahaha

  • hahahaha /Dickhead

    Funny

  • I have had this since Christmas. For me it has been a nightmare to set up. I think the main problem in PS2's DNAS authentication process. Anyway, I have searched all message boards on the WGA and a lot of people have the same problems. Don't expect it to work right out of the box. I have it connected to the latest Linksys wireless gateway modem.

  • i have this...i use it for my ps2...just that i dont no how to get it connected to the internet...cuz i got a new router...any help?

  • aren't you suppose to set it up through your pc and also enter 192.168.1.1 into your web browser to find your router information if you didn't already know.

  • can you use it on a wireless N-ROUTER

  • what kind of linksys should i get to play the xbox 360 live and browse the internet at the same i have dsl time plz answer

  • this is better for the 360 instead of the 100 dollar piece of shit

  • ROFL I spent like $400 on my xbox and about $150 on gettin xbox live (and halo 3)!! it was so worth it!!!

  • does it support WPA(TKIP) Security????? PLEASE RESPOND IM DIEING WITHOUT XBOX LIVE!

  • yes it do duh.. IT USES WEP SECURITY

  • he said wpa not wep...

  • oopps lol didnt read right.

  • no he said WEP

  • it supports both...just change ur settings on the main router with ur pc

  • so what a need its just an network adapter?

  • This guy is so fucking annoying

  • so why you watching it? he knows his shit though.....
