I like the simplcity of this really nice design. Home Depot has them for $88 and I was going to get two of them this morning.
However, they are 16 1/2 inches high, which is 1 1/2 inches higher than standard toilets.
This is a major design flaw and problem, because you have to be able to squat to do the business, and this toilet is too high. The same is true of their .8g model.
@ringoffirejc I had these toilets in my two previous apartments and they flushe a ton of stuff and never clogged, but mine were 1.6 gpf models withoutthe siphon jet. They're much better than the Briggs I have now. I never had to double flush with my Niagras, but I do with the low flow Briggs in my apartment.
if it uses 1.28 gpf like i read, its not that bad and low cost. i am buying a Toto Aquia dual-flush toilet on Oct 10(tent sale that day) to save water and is a great deal ($339 compared to a caroma carousel at $550)
I gotta get me one of those!

@johnlvs2run
Good point about the height. It has a handicap logo on it. It's for those that can't sit so low anymore.

Wouldn't dumping a bucket of water down the toilet tank work the same way?
IrisMG 3 years ago
Exactly the same as it does in a normal toilet.
