Hey Lucy, you did a great job, but you are awfully tall to be playing that part. I just got done plahying Warbucks in Community Theatre and the little girl that played Annie only came up a little higher than my elbow. I had to kneel on one knee for a lot of the scenes with her. Maybe a talleer Warbucks would have helped.

I was tall, yes, but remember this is filmed from a diagonal angle so that doesn't help matters. This is the national tour in the UK (which is still going on now!) from a couple of years ago, and it wasn't a problem with the casting director or the audiences here, but it is a good point, I was quite tall! :) x

OMG! This whole number was just freakin AWESOME! You looked so cute coming down the stairs! When my theater did this, Daddy Warbucks was supposed to pick Annie up at the bottom of the stairs and spin her around, set her down, and then twirl her again. The first night, things were great, next to times he dropped her, last night, they didn't even bother, he just twirled on on the ground instead.
