  • Good Job!!!

  • I like your collection! At first I thought the first convert and the last convert were the same car but then I noticed the floor in the last Impala was more intact than the first one. Any plans to restore it as well?

  • We love the '59 chevys! We have a convertible similar to the one you are restoring. White with a red interior and we have had it since 1976 and every part is factory original to the car. It is in vertually N.O.S. condition and just like you we love this car. When we take this car out people around us in traffic have accidents looking at it. We want to see your car when you complete it. Merry Christmas! ! :)

  • what do you pay for a 59 in bad condition?

  • Beauiful!

  • Da Yoopers! "Second Week Of Deer Camp" is funnier though.

  • 1959 year I was born.

  • Thank you for not throwing it into a junk yard, I brakes my heart every time I see a car that can be fixed smashed and crushed into a coke can

  • promise me one thing... you make his impala as beautiful and luxurious as yours

  • THIS COOL

  • You got the touch and keep on doing what you do, and save them too.....

  • congratulations! song is great, white chevy restored is awesome! soooo beautiful!!!

  • I forgot to add: "Rusty Old American Dream" by David Wilcox will bring a tear to your eye.

  • I hope my black '59 Impala conv., 283 PowerPac, three on the tree, still lives somewhere. Back in '61 my dad liked nice cars and helped me buy it. Lots of miles on warm, sweet Houston nights with the top down and KILT-AM coming through those little sun-blasted front speakers. Thanks again for saving some wonderful rides.

  • Very well done video, great introduction song, and an incredible job of restoring those 1959 Chevys. I'm very impressed with your work.

  • It's great to see what you're doing. It saves classic cars from a horrible and (most times) preventable death. I can't wait until the day comes when I can buy my dream car, a 68 Shelby Cobra GT500...and it will, I'm only 21 and working my way through school, but it will come. Someday that car will be mine.

  • nice song it's funny. cool rusty chevy

  • Awesome video! Really love that you did great job bringing this Chevy back. I wish I could buy myself old rusty Chevy and restore it(Im only 17 yet, cant afford it right now)

  • thumbs up great to see people saving those chevys...Specially taking pride of they own work

  • my dad had a chevy impala like that in his teens.

  • I found a bunch of thumbs and they are all up. My buddy has a 59 Impala. What a treat for him to watch this. By any chance are you looking to adopt.

  • Two Thumbs up

  • i want my yard to look exactly like that

  • holy crap nice job dude ur awsome

  • Damn, Great good Work!!!

It's great, another car that not gets crushed!! Thank Godness!!!

    The music ist also great

  • WOW!!!! and loved the music!!!

  • AWESOME CAR !!

    Great job on your build.

  • if he really did restore that car, he is a true artist!

  • B-H

Interior and dashboard layout of the 59-60 is among the best, I found it hard to admire the exterior styling When the car is in good shape (like the hardtop in this video) the "Batmobile" look sorta grows on ya..power train on these Chevys was the best. The bubbleback roof of the hardtop reminds me of my '69 Corvair's which has similar style. My Vair is one of the last ones made before Chevy stopped production in May '69, and she's garaged for the winter.

  • very very very nice! well done! brings back alot of good memories. my dad and grandfather uased to take me with them to junkyards and they would buy and rebuild. i am 35 and one day i will buy one of these for my dad. thanks for posting. very nice!!

  • Excellent video. Is the convertible on the road? What about the other projects? Do you still own them?

I own 4 of these cars. One 2 door hardtop, one 4 door hardtop, one 2 door sedan and one 2door hardtop parts car. All are Impala's, except for the 2 door sedan, which is a Bel Air. All but the parts car are in various stages of restoration. The 4 door is roadworthy and is a 348 automatic.

Let us know of any progress you have made since this video was recorded.

  • I really did enjoy this video. It was my first car. Purchased in 1965. Black convertible/white top/red interior. I still see it in my dreams. Thanks for memory lane.
