I like Archuleta, too. He's a sweet boy with a beautiful voice. Cook is a sexy,irrestible, delicious MAN. His voice has everything to do with his sexiness.

Uh I like David, but Collective Soul is way better! I wasn't exactly thrilled with his spin on this song, but it wasn't terrible. Covers can be hard. I prefer David's original stuff. His voice is crazy awesome! I love his range.
The only thing I hated about this was Simon's comment. How could he not see what David was telling everyone? Through his music, he was showing the world the pure and unconditional love he has for his brother Adam and I'm sure the feeling was always mutual. I don't know how he made it through without breaking down. I applaud him for making it through. Paula made the most awesome comment. Last year there were crises in my life that kept me from Television, the arts, .... great things like this gifted musician. Tonight I just saw him for the first time on SNL, fell in love with his voice and his soul, Googled him immediately, and wow.... I was missing a lot.

Cookie is still my favorite even though AI8 has come and gone. I cried for weeks after the finale everytime I heard him singing this song on my I pod. I love Archie too due to Cook's love of his little AI brother. I did not watch season 8 at all...and do I regret. I've been watching vids on both David's and Cook is by far the superior singer. Archuleta has a nice voice, but Cook is friggin' awesome!!!!!

I didn't watch american idol on tv, so this is the first I've even heard of david cook, and that's only because it came up as a related video to a DAVID ARCHULETA video. Ha, that proves who has the more successful career

I did not watch season 8 at all...and do I regret. I've been watching vids on both David's and Cook is by far the superior singer. Archuleta has a nice voice, but Cook is friggin' awesome!!!!!

It's interesting....Simon is opinionated and has voiced concerns about DC's judgment on the wordnerd video and on his song choices. On almost all counts "the people" have sided with David Cook with their votes. We'll see what kinds of creative differences they have over the next year! I hope DC gets to choose his music and hope that Simon sees that he is really on target with his choices....
