You can't compare they have different uses for example you would be better having a PC for gaming and a MAC for editing videos and music and that kind of stuff but when you change those roles around they both turn into crappy computers so your opinion on the best would be best based on what you use them for.

Honestly, I have had all types of Operating Systems, and if you know what your doing Linux (Ubuntu in particular) is better than both...my 200 dollar laptop is significantly faster than my brothers mac and my mothers Dell...both expensive desktops too
