The only reason I have any difficulty with X 2 and 3 is that the controls for X 1 were so superior that when I played the other ones I could perform as well, I was the boss on X1, but not X3.

@douglaslort lol. The controls are different. X3 has this kind of lag when you try to dash jump and the over all speed of the charge is also slower. Trying to manage the whole up boost system can also lead to untimely deaths. X1 had solid controls, but because of all the added features of X2 and X3, X had been slowed down and altered.

actually i just beat him on my 3rd try lol, not too bad, only used 2 sub tanks. i just got really annoyed. this has to be the most annoying boss in the series, pry not the hardest though. (megaman and bass, the boss thats a giant tank is more or just as annoying) anyway whats with the crappy sigma head? lol oh well, thanks for the vid, it helped me a lot.

damn dude your a god. i can't beat this guy at all. i really wish i hadn't gotten the Arm enhancement, it just makes the charge and the shot itself, so much slower (thus making him harder) but how you managed to beat him not getting hit is amazing. this is the only boss in the whole series i can't beat easily =\
