Politics speaks for the nationals interest but who is in that nation? We are, you are.. Human rights are and was established on the basis that individual members in the world have certain inherent rights which must also be respected by those in power.. so therefore in my eyes, politically, human rights are put together to form a fair game.

Maps are instruments of colonialism. They change all the time, but to say they show Tibet being part of China is not only a lie, but a deliberate one. For every one map you can show, there are ten that will show otherwise.
But this is beside the point, because today's china only came about in 1949. So to claim something to be yours when you didn't even exist is an argument logical people will obviously dismiss. That's why you have to enforce your lies down people's throats or kill them.

Remember, there were a lot of Tibetan red guards joining the cultural revolution. Even nowadays, many tibetan old people still worship Mao Tzedong just as they worship His Holyness the Dalai Lama. If you do not take these people as Tibetan, please forget what I said and there is no need for discussion. If you do, we can have a talk based on history. By the way, I'm not justifying Chinese government's Tibetan policy. I just believe hatred does not help. Trust the words of His Holyness.

If you guys really want to free tibet, provide some solid evidence. now Tibetans in China is almost 6 million, it is at least three times of that in 1959. If there was a genocide, how come Tibetan population grows even faster than Han Chinese? Plus Tibet is really not a good place for living......high radiation and low oxygen....you can also look at the newborn death rate and average life span...a huge improvement ever since 1959

Local Tibet gov used to agree on the new PRC's gov. As PRC then recognizes the complex politics inside Tibet, it did not charge in every day life in Tibet, but agreed on autonomy but under condition that local Tibetan nobles(slave-owners) should lead the whole Tibetan society to get rid of the slavery system. BUT well, nobles were nobles, they agreed on mouth and did not in heart, so
later, fighting happened. Some nobles with their supporters fled to India and established so-called exile gov.

In my eyes, politics follows a different game rule than idealism of human right. Human right speaks equal right among every individual, politics speaks the national interest. They conflict by nature.
Unfortunately, human right fighters at this stage can still only turn for help from their government, which definitely introduces politics, thus the original purpose of human right will always be biased by national interests, not just of China, those anti-China too. Let's wait, politics is slow.

At which i am not totally against but do believe that at the time the tibetan nobels had no other choice but to coincide with the PRC's governing.And because the CPC is such a huge political party i have thought to believe that its most possible that the Tibetan Nobels had no other choice in the matter.

Yes, i see how they may conflict, but you see, like you said, in order for human rights to exist they must gain help from the government. Politics speaks for the nationals interest but who is in that nation? We are, you are.. Human rights are and was established on the basis that individual members in the world have certain inherent rights which must also be respected by those in power.. so therefore in my eyes, politically, human rights are put together to form a fair game.

Well, in principle, if every politician is decent and has a fair attitute of everyone on earth, your claim must be true withou doubt. That's really what everybody wants. But politicians with evil ambitions or prejudice of arrogantly ignoring human rights of those he wants to ignore can cheat. Can individuals compete with these politicians? No, at least not now. The only way to restrict them is to have every gov be equally powerful so that they can restrict each other, which is far from true now.

If you wanna know why PRC gov chooses policy of media control, well, no simple answer. I don't expect anyone without living in China for less than 10 yrs can understand it. Though it is aweful for outsiders to know about China, it stays there for reasons(if not good reasons).
Call for China's own free media has begun since beggining of this Tibet issue. Just westerners don't know, because 1) they don't know(if not don't want to) Chinese, 2) they don't trust mainstream Chinese media. Dilemma.
