From what I can see, this device somewhat reduces the heavy use of extensors muscles of the wrist. This is probably a tool for graphic designers to try out, as it may offer greater control and speed than touch pad or mouse. With touch screens getting cheaper, such devices become obsolete.

another thing try to have your hand in the air for a few minutes with no weight..now imagine having extra weight..your hand wont resist. The whole purpose of a mouse is to rest your hands on it...
