  • The song "Boulevard" is about runaways and Hollywood Boulevard. It was partly written from the point of view of a young person on that street- a teenager- in a time of prostitution. But, Jackson also stated that it was saying you wouldn't always be that way, that there was hope and you could rise above poverty.

  • where's the lirycs?????????????

  • press more info

  • this song was written, what 25 yeas ago, with the reference to teen prostitution (aka slavery) with the lyrics "they set ones up" in particular when there were so many runaways from the midwest that it was called the minnosota strip ps the Golden Cup was or is a resturant 25 yeasr ago and it is still going on 24/7

  • @badbadkingjohn the song is about male prostitution and the Golden cup was a coffee shop in Hollywood I used to hang out there I hooked for 18 years out on the streets in LA. The golden cup is no longer in business, it was a hustler hang out. Jackson must have known someone who worked the streets, or something he depicts the life of a hooker perfectly in this song.
