Say what you want but only God knows the heart of man. Although we can see the physical only God can see the heart. If Steve confessed, believe, that Jesus Christ is Lord and God raised Jesus from the grave He is saved. Savation is not contingent on what you do it contingent on what you believe. Romans 10:9-13.

Judge Not Lest You Be Judged. He realizes it is not his place to cast Judgement. It is his place to preach the Gospel to save the Lost and Not cry to throw stones at the dead.

2telldatruth: I feel you. At the same rate, I think itz wrong for people to assume they knew what went on before Steve's death. He could've told Sahel "we're wrong, I'm wrong. I have a wife, kids, you, AND sum1 on the side. Can't do it anymore. I'll still have ur back, but from a distance." A young-minded crazy person in "love" (like Sahel) would've said "oh no, we die together," & killed them both. No 1 knows, so every1 should stop saying what the pastor should've done. God gave him his words

Don't get me wrong, Im not condeming the preacher either. I just think his objective was 2help the family & as bad as some of our loved ones are we would be mad if a preacher got up & bashed them. At the same token if a lesson from the Good or the Bad in thier lives can be used, I would not want it looked over but given in a respectful way that does not uphold sin but rather points to the father and the need for us all to be able to love forgive and get our lives right w/God.

I would have liked 2hear & expected, as a Christian, the man of God to say I condemn or do not condone adultery or sin. I believe a eulogy is intended to bring healing to the hearts and minds of loved ones. Because of the controversy of his death, there are those who would have accepted the approach or at least a mention that sin is wrong yet don't condemn the MAN but rather "drop your stone" for we ALL are not without sin. I think it wouldve given more PEACE to Mechelle the Kids & America

Though God is a vengeful God, He is a God of Love & The Holy Spirit has perfect manners, and The Bible says "Love covers a multitude of sin." The manner in which you challenged the pastor was not in love & was disrespectful to those who grieve. It's obvious that McNair's lifestyle was wrong, but you can't SCARE folk into salvation. God hasn't given spirit of fear, but of power, LOVE, and a sound mind. I say this with love. God bless.

Yes, he is also human. Then again, we are all human, and we all have done those things that we are most ashamed of, things that are very damaging to our character. But, God loves us in spite of, and are wanting us to repent of those things, and to turn from our sins. Still, we are human, being capable of the outstandingly wonderful, good, bad, and the downright deplorable!

Regardless he still on his way to hell. He died in his sleep an unrepented sinner. It is what it is. No man knows the hour nor the minute God will call you home. That's why every moment is so important. Why are people so afraid to take a stand? I KNOW! False preachers & false churches who wax people dumb & cold to the truth of God's everliving, infallible word. The wages of sin is death. He had a choice not to whore around. I pray to the Almighty God that this failure of a Bishop had enough courage, intergrity & spirit to condemn adultery as well as ALL sin during this speak. He has done this man's family, friends & team a GREAT injustice. He has past on. They have a chance to get it right before they pass on. I can imagine Mcnair wanting the SAME chance to reach his loved ones JUST as the rich man requested(Luke 16) NO SINNER IS GOING TO GET BY WITH GOD. False teaching has JACKED people up. Amen! Don't be swayed! Keep praying that God's anointing rests on Bishop. So many religious demons come to try him AND his flock! Also pray for those who are possessed - that they receive deliverance & enter a REAL relationship with God. It's funny how people like to "preach" about what pastors should & shouldn't say when they haven't even been called. Just pray that God opens the spiritual eyes of the blind...

It is good to see you feel that way. You both should that marriage is a committment in life and death. You are responsible to each and for each. Ms McNair in spite of it all must plan his funeral, make arrangements for his belongings and tend to the financial arrangements of his extended family not just his children. God Bless you
