It's 2011, and I just learned about TopGear. Thanks to James May's model trains which led me to the show and Netflix which provides the DVDs now. I have several years to catch up on. As a resident of the USA, I have to say it's the best thing on the TV. And the USA road trip was very funny. But most of the Italian super cars and Lancias are pretty ugly, guys. I'll take the DB9 or one of those little Renaults. I wish we had some of those over here.

I think that if Jeremy Clarkson and James May spoke in the accent of the northern area where they grew up you'd have a very hard time understanding them. I don't find any Southern English accents to be hard to understand and they all speak in a Southern accent on the show.

I love Top Gear, to behonest, when I started watching, I had no interest in cars, but after watching TG, although I'm not interested in the technical aspects, I have a new appriciation for Vintage Cars.
I think it's a fantastic show. This last series was a little weak: compared to the others, but I have no doubt they'll get back on track.
James is my favourite, I love his work with toys, and his documentary's. I find him pretty inspirational. :)
I have seen it: And the Bolivia trip was amazing, but the series on the whole wasn't as strong as previous series' in my opinion. It was far more staged and scripted than previous series'. I still enjoyed it greatly, and think the Bolivia trip was deffinately one of the best things they've ever done: I watched it about three times the night it was aired. But even the TG team dont think the series as a whole was as great as it could be: Andy was glad to see the back of it.

Otzmatron - The only reason they put so many clips in and the narration is because TopGear isnt on Primetime tv here like it is in the UK. Its on SBS one night a week and on Cable the rest of the time, and this show is on free to air tv. So its just showing the viewers who may not have seen the show, what its all about, Rather then just showing an interview with 3 men that people might not have a clue who they are. But thanks for that insightful, arrogant comment though.

Well there is a stuntman.. kinda.. sorta.. but rarely see him which is good because I hated the new addition. Most people disliked him which I think is why we so rarely see him.

top gear is brilliant, i was surprised that they have the pack and its a strong pack as they proved in 2006 with hammonds crash, they carried on with life afterwards, careful not to upset richard along the way though. i woundered what "rev heads" ment because im british in england americas 'rev heads' are called 'petrol heads'

top gear is brilliant, i was surprised that they have the pack and its a strong pack as they proved in 2006 with hammonds crash, they carried on with life afterwards, careful not to upset richard along the way though. i woundered what "rev heads" ment because im british in england americas 'rev heads' are called 'petrol heads'
is there a second half to this flim because it just kinda' stops at the end.
Im also one of those people who watches the repeats on Dave 24/7! lol

One thing I do have to say is that I really hope that is the closest Ch9 EVER gets to topgear as if it were to ever and i mean Ever leave SBS and be taken over by Ch9 it would be SO FUCKED UP!SBS MUST KEEP TG AT ALL COSTS!!

Quite possibly the best show currently aired on TV.
Top Gear is just fantastic, on so many levels.
I truely admire J.Clarkson, J. May & R. Hammond. And not only because they have the best job one could wish for.

The last bit worried me, I mean, yes, this is quite dangerous, example with Hammonds, but you just have to commend them for putting the show infront of themselves. I love Top Gear, I say it's the best show in all of TV and cable and I would be severally depressed if this show ever stopped because of unforseen accidents. *knock on wood* Long live Top Gear! *knocks on wood again*
