BTW - 70% or more of these dogs are "Rescue Dogs" ... the 2007 Winner was scheduled to be euthanized (for being ugly) but was rescued by an owner who is convinced "Elwood" thinks he's EXTREMELY HANDSOME

b) these people are definitely demonstrate a great deal of LOVE for themselves and their animals. Most of them are advocates for rescuing dogs. Some of them have rescued their dogs from owners who discarded them or would destroy them because "they" thought they were UGLY.
