  • this is my school!

  • @SHIBAInuFilms Haha. How sure are you?

  • @nimajnebev I was in that room a few days ago.

  • @SHIBAInuFilms Looks the same as my school except the chairs are different...

  • I'm not kidding when I say this: I seriously was thinking about this same idea when I made my own version, but I didn't have any of the resources to make more than three computers beep, not to mention Bleeper Music Maker doesn't like to work right my comptuers. *thumbs up and faved*

  • On second thought, the 12 people that disliked this are the computers you used

  • 12 people got a mac, watched this, then replicated it using one (not 12) computer. U mad gates?

  • Epic WIN!!!

  • Okay. Let me guess.

Your university or school is built over aperture and you got GlaDoS to controll those computers for ya right?

Aperture is a big place huh?

  • In my view (A computer programmer) that was fucking beautiful

  • I will find how to do this, and then, when my class goes to the ICT Suite, this will be on. :D

  • Seriously bro, make a hacky Executable of this and once you click it, it finds the network group and starts this... :D!

  • how did you do the words appering on the screens

  • like a boss

  • this is AWESOME

  • Dude you are a LEGEND. That is quite possibly one of the most amazing things ever!!!!!

    Any chance of Still Alive?

  • if i could do this to my high school computer lab....

  • I'd love to have the MIDI! Please make it available C:

  • Of course wheatly would probly do this if he ever gets back on earth

  • My favorite part was the part of the song where Glados says "oh! Did you think I meant you?" great job! :)

  • i need a batch file that opens up 12 commands prompts and does this. instead of 12 pcs.

    Download Windows xp compatible?

  • Sorry guys. Not making the software available..

Mainly because it was really dodgy, and I'd have to write a manual on how to use it. Actually took quite a bit of preparation to get things running too.

Maybe if I do another one, I'll improve the software, and make it available.

I could maybe make the MIDI available if anyone was interested though

  • @nimajnebev Don't suppose you could give a link to the MIDI file?

  • Can we have the software? I want to do this in my school :3

  • WOW... Love it! :D

  • GLaDOS is taking over all the schools in the world! :D

    Wait... Is that bad?

  • @Zapwave No GLaDOS kills the Teacher with deadly neurotoxin :)

  • He sounds aussie

  • @ubergamer999 Yep. Got it in one.

  • @nimajnebev this looks identical to my school in NSW, Davidson thats the school, we have same coumputers but they still run XP, yes our Technician was an old person....

  • @ubergamer999 Chairs at this place are the same as my school, so are the computers xD, DET funded?

  • The 12 dislikes are the computers because they did not get cake after all their hard work

  • You Sound Like Wheatley

  • encore?

  • Woooooooooooow...

  • Cool

  • <333333333333333333333

  • I had a stupid moment which didnt turn out to be good though, because i played the video and the original want you gone together, which sounds great. After them i pulled out audacity and mixed the sound of the video together with want you gone. The timing is also perfect

  • Holy shit where did you get all those computers?

  • Well, I cannot compare this to something else. From one view it's like nailing with a microscope, from other cool as hell

  • You just finished your life

  • i love this man plz do more

  • Wow! That computer lab looks like it could very well have been from my old High School, Maroochydore State High School! And all the computers look exactly like what is used at my current High School. And the chairs. Great job on the video btw. I once did the first part of Still Alive in QBasic using two computers and showed a couple of teachers.

  • CUTE!

  • It can be downloaded?:) And very good!:)

  • the turrets before development!!

  • Noice! Were all of those IBM|Lenovo "Think" machines?! =D

  • @XzTS Yes they were.

  • @nimajnebev Careful with those Think Machines. They need to be rigged to be combustible so they can burn Lenovo's house down. Don't make Lenovonade! :D

  • @neofox411 If it's not already obvious, I really do not like Lenovo right now. The Thinkpad I'm stuck with is an absolute lemon. x.x

  • @nimajnebev Where i can get the Screen saver?

  • @XzTS I Think they were Thinkcentres. I liked thinkcentres, so I watched a thinkcentre while using a thinkcentre. THINKCEPTION

  • @Robloxian182

They are ThinkCentres, but the real question is: "Were they IBM or Lenovo?"

    also, =O

  • @XzTS The one I have is IBM, but the ones in the video are Lenovo.

  • that's another reason why PC beats Mac any day.

  • if this ever happend at my school just about everybody would be like "wut" and id be the only one cool there

  • Have you written a program to do this?

  • @GeisterNoob Yea.

  • @nimajnebev Can you give it to us :D

  • Pretty cool :)

  • This would make an awesome harmless virus just as a joke for my school :)

  • is there a way i can get the program used for this :D?

  • How did you get all of the computers to sync? was there some form of timed programme or did you use a "Main computer" to set it off??

If there is, would you be able to link the files or programme? :D

  • @jack0halliwell 1 master computer ran a program, and the slaves ran a different program.

Don't know where the source is to be honest. Didn't take more than a couple of hours to write though.

  • Wheatley?

  • Tristan Perich would be proud.

  • that was awsome

  • teachers want you gone

  • Comment removed

  • Programming: Good. Synchronization: Perfect. Composition: Adequate. Filming: Could be better.

  • You saved Science!!!

  • virus detected... starting apature science backup mode.

  • Yeah.. Making this into a harnless virus and infect an electronics store, office or school would be epic.. You might get arrested or sued, but still

  • this would be fun to make this a virus and infect ALL school computers and make them play on all the speakers

  • Ok... that is cool

  • Great Job!

  • This looks sooo much like my old school! Its not syd smith is it?! lol

  • Great stuff! Could use more bass - consider using floppy drive motors (check out eg. Phantom of the Floppera). I bet it looses a lot of the "spaciality" in the recording without a good stereo microphone setup. Perhaps rewrite it to distribute notes across TCP to an arbitrary number of computers. =)

  • @MatrixCat3D These machines don't have floppy drives unfortunately.

  • Is it sad that i'm almost crying? This sounds so awesome :D

  • @ukikocarrot23 Thanks heaps!

  • Nerds know how to pull off cool stuff like this, respect us.

  • You, are a true god among mere mortals >.<

  • Ray William Johnson is a douche.

  • AWESOME!! DESERVE TO BE REVIEWD WITH RWJ!!! OR TO SIMPLY GET MORE REVIEWS!

  • @Motishay Haha. Thanks dude. Don't think Ray would be interested in something like this, but cheers anyway :)

  • How did you set them all of at the same time?

  • Ow man realy nice but dont let ur school mates find out what u did!

  • JUST AMAZING...SO COOL!

  • This brings a new meaning to surround sound.

  • So cool! I wonder how good it sounded in the actual room surrounded by computers.

  • @cipinic Yea. It was pretty cool.

  • Still Alive, please? :3

  • @balrogdude27 Mmm... Maaaybe. If I get time. :-)

  • Are you in a school?

  • A God among men

  • This is magnificent, and you are awesome.

    You can't explain that.

  • Pretty awesome. I hope you don't get fired like that guy that installed SETI@home on school computers.

  • I hate when pcs were used to hold the monitor >:(

  • you just got asubscriber!

  • that must been a lots of wires

  • If I had a womb, you'd be welcome to it x

  • you are a genius!!!!!!!!

  • brilliant. totally f*ing brilliant!!!!

  • You are a fucking genious!

  • @OMGitsDSypl Why Thank you fine sir

  • you kinda sound like Wheatley

  • So awesome -u-

  • your voice remind me of Wheatly...

  • AWESOME!!!

  • You An Aussie?

  • @ZeldaEva Yep

  • MAKE THEM SING CARA MIA!!

  • Damn dude, how did you get away with pulling this off in a lab. Most schools would have a total bitch-fit over something like this.

  • Serious dedication to this here, great work.

  • How did you get the program to work under Windows 7? I've already tried to run it in compatibility mode but it doesn't work...

  • You, dear sir, are awesome :D

  • @MrBillyRex Cheers :-)

  • u school is cool with tings like this? i got almost bannend for watching this on school

I tink my teacher is just not tinking with portals

  • In the video description I found "Let me know if you like it."

WTF ??? IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO DISLIKE THIS ????

    Amazing work ;)

  • Did you do this in a school computer lab? It looks like it.

  • @TheHurticus Sure did

  • @nimajnebev was this during school? i could imagine a student walking in and being all like o_o

  • Is that Windows 7? On my PC Windows 7 disables it.

  • @adairf625 See the description. Arranged the song into 9 independent parts, then made a program to play each part and scroll words.

  • If MP3 ringtones hadn't replaced Polyphonic ones, this would be the most popular ringtone in existence.

  • anyway you could put up the program file that makes the computer run this so we can have the whole song. (then we just have to find a way to make it a infectious virus that infect computers around the world and all we will Want is It Gone)

  • anyway you could put up the program file that makes the computer run this so we can have the whole song. (then we just have to find a way to make it a infectious virus that infect computers around the world and all we will Want is It Gone)

  • Wow, man! Hope it goes viral.

  • How is this not viral?

  • @MrPrectWinter I'm surprised it's got this many views to be honest. It worked its way up to 200 views over 4 weeks. Then all of a sudden it was getting 500+ a day

  • @nimajnebev That would be because you are now on Dorkly.

  • Still Alive? Sometime in the future maybe?

  • @SpikeStarkey Maybe!

  • @nimajnebev woo!

  • I can't grasph its entire magnificence. Thank you.

  • how COOL is THAT!!

its just perfect for teachers, on the last day of school :D

    want them gone

  • when i see this kind of win i dont understand why people frown upon nerds this rocks ehm i mean potatoes!!!

  • AWESOME!

  • Im pretty sure you could do that on just one computer.. Lol.

  • @ResultzMayVary But it is more fun on more! :D

  • Good job XD

  • Good job

  • You sound like wheatley! :D

  • That red bar is too big, let's make that green one bigger.

  • @FDaihatsu - just wrote a very VERY basic TCP listener. Then had all the IPs of the slave computers in a list on the "master" PC. The master program literally initiates a connection to each IP on a particular port. The clients start as soon as they detect a connection. Efficient? No. Reliable? No. Fun? Yes.

  • @nimajnebev Just like Aperture themselves then. :)

  • I did this once with the Mario overworld theme, but only with two computers, an improvised C# code that took ages to write, and no networking between the computers (which made it all suck rather badly). Gotta say yours is a helluva lot better :P

Can I humbly ask if you could share the program you made to get the thing running on all computers at the same time? Thanks! :D

  • Badassery.

  • how did you control all the pcs at once. timing and execution?

  • Hey, that's my school! Who posted this?

  • @JingleBelsRox nimajnebev

  • "Let me know if you like it." - I think so. :D

  • WOAH.

  • Woah thats awesome great job!

  • Amazing.

    Damn amazing :D!

  • fucking win! :D

  • This is really impressive.

It must have been hard to syncronise them.

  • That was simply amazing.

  • gay

  • Awesome man! i want more of this!

  • Very epic :)! Nice work!

  • Purely awesome! Hope you enjoyed creating this as much as I enjoyed watching and listening to it.

  • @Pederzen100 Fair enough I suppose. But perhaps if you're sick of Portal 2, you shouldn't watch Portal 2 videos?

  • wow this was awesome, i imagined this happening on aperture science offices.

  • It almost made me cry, nice job ;)

  • Image people working on all of these computers, and then eventually this happens... :D

  • How can this only have 260 views? It's a genius work!Eternal Kudos for ya man!

  • @Dashn1YT Genius? I think I just had too much time on my hands ;-)
