@K10501 Piano, Josh Simpson; Bass, Taylor Barnes; Lead Guitar, Daniel Addison; Drums, Kevin Albertson. Josh, of course, is now in college, and Roy Webb is their pianist. They don't carry the live band anymore...it was short lived, sadly. Daniel and Kevin both do a lot of studio work, and I'm not sure where Taylor is now.
Nobody has mentioned that this was in an Oklahoma field at about 11:30 at night. Cool damp air and on the second round after sitting for 2 hours and singing a 55 minute set on the first round. Can you say "wore out". This is an amatuer video and recorded on the fly with no corrections made in the studio. Not too bad if you weigh out the circumstances. I've heard others do a whole lot worse.
. But i know I don't have four or five different suits a week to wear and they are on the road constantly. Look at their schedule. They still sound great and need some time to get the current group to "gel". So let's give them a little time and see what happens. No one knew Brian Free when he started. Said his voice was too girly. Jay Parrack was too screechy. Now they are legends of SGM. Take it easy and if they are the same after a while then we'll lash out. Thanks for the video(s)
I think they are trying to be more contemporary. But they also are outside here with the bugs and weather. You think they'll wear this at the NQC? NO. They are trying to fit in with their surroundings and associate with the people they are singing in front of. Being personable. I really believe these guys are genuine and believe in what they sing about. You think they do it for the money? NO WAY. Yes they could wear suits every night.
Me too, Diana. I told Bruce months ago that I'd love to hear him sing it. He told me that they staged the song when he first joined, but then stopped after Easter of that year. I hope they sing it the next time I am at a concert.
Bruce totally rock on "There Rose a Lamb!!" Love it :D

I'm glad they're singing There Rose a Lamb again. I've always loved it but I haven't heard them sing it in a long time.
