I just love how Frieza's "OH SHIT!" expression just doesn't change when his hal'ves are sliding apart. Even as he's literally falling apart, all he can think about is how another being has bested him.
english dbz is the worst with the new falconer soundtrack. german version (as all european versions i suppose) contain the original japanese and therefore best one. :)
@matt0044 I do too. Don't get me wrong. Kikuchi is a great music composer, but a lot the tracks don't feel as epic as the insert songs. Plus I just don't like it with the English dialogue. The Kikuchi only works with the Japanese audio, at least in my opinion.
see this made this scene more epic the english 1.but it wasent bad.. They both have different feels original = dbz of the 80s! eng - dbz of the modern! so they both fit the show well
well to anyone thats thinks the english version is better remember the english version came out atleast 7 years after so if you think this ok remember it was way ahead of its time plus they did use it anywhere else to make moment more unique like dubs.
@ElricSowrd Oh man you're kidding... that sucks. I assume the voice for Kamesennin died too? I don't know why they'd get that other dude to replace him, he sounds like Oolong. =(
@Yogiri No. There are some songs that are in there. My mistake, actually. Because this insert song is actually in the remastered version. However, songs such as Mind Power and Ki aren't. Which is weird. :/
To me this one doesn't compare to the American version, them and atmosphere wise, but I must say it's pretty damn close. Pretty neat. I can feel the intense power and then calmness that comes over Trunks with his transformation in this version
@PhantomGhost25 Come on man, 1:48 - 2:05 ... you can feel the Heroism of the Super Saiyans... you know everything will be alright, and Frieza is powerless from now on.

It's just the perfect summation of his character.

Believe it or not, I like all the versions. More DBZ to watch. :P

@HamsterGoddess I do prefer the original Japanese version, but I don't mind watching it in English either. Any Dragonball is good to me.

I wish that the JPN BGM by Kikuchi-san were just as good as the insert songs.

Rest In Peace Daisuke Gori...Voice of Yemma, Hercule Satan and King Cold.
The English with Japanese music has this song in the Remasterd and I'm guessing the Dragon Box version.

@sabishiihito I know, I researched him about 4 years ago.

@ElricSowrd Actually, I don't think it does. The ENG rematsered leaves out a lot [almost all] of the insert songs. It's quite depressing.

@CheyenneTechno This is like, the only fucking insert song they have with the remastered sets... Most of them are absent.
shadupp 11 months ago
@shadupp Yup. Like I said, depressing.

Aren't all of the insert songs removed? This actually isn't FUNI's fault, it's Toei for not providing the right masters.

Does this count as an insert song? There are no lyrics.

@CheyenneTechno Just this one time, they kept the insert song.

@CheyenneTechno guessing you figured this out by now but yeah it does. Only songs left out are vocals.
