I don't understand how the pitfall trap, which makes you go down when you hit it in the air, boosts the movement UP to take you over the top ko-line

@WhiterThanYall The Pitfall Seed does damage, which is the important part. Regardless of the direction you're launched when hit by one, as long as you're out of bounds, the damage will automatically register it as a finishing blow. As long as damage is done, Aerial Assaulting is possible by any item.

Either way, competitive is the keyword. In competitive matches, there are no items, meaning that you wouldn't be able to pull this off unless you used something like Link's Bomb or Diddy's Banana Peel. Even if that were the case, you would have to be in the right stage at the right place at the right time, so Red023b is right.

It's not meant to be competitive, it's just a little trick I came across a while back.

By pausing the game, going to CPU, and press left or right until the word Control comes up. Now P2 can control the CPU. If you have 3 or 4 CPUs out, P3 and P4 can control them too.

if you throw a pitfall on a surface that you can fall through like the flat surfaces in custom stages,and someone touches it the fall through hard. If someone say jumps in the air and u hit them with the pitfall in the air the get meteor smashed by it. Kirby's up grab doesn't automatically kill enemies if they are brought off screen by it but because of the pitfall they get knocked out of kriby's up grab thing and that KO them. Does anything happen with bumpers?

Probably, I haven't tried, but chances are that if you throw anything in the air that will hurt your opponent and flinch them (for even a second), they'll die in a star KO...
