my friend...kindly research. I have seen that people say things without doing deep research. Do reseach yourself...Pick bible, pick Quran read both of them chapter by chapter...you will find similarity in both of them which means Quran validates the same message which is in Bible...and the source is the same which revealed these books. Kindly try to understand about their teachings..both books are wonderful only difference is Bible has several different versions and Quran is only in 1 version.

You're quoting from the Quran. My comment was based on the Bible which differs a lot from the Quran. Did you even read John 10:33, how about you read verses 22-33. The Jews asked if He was the Christ (Messiah) not a prophet. They did not want to kill Jesus like the other prophets were killed, but rather, "for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God" (v33). Obviously Jesus made a claim they didn't like. You can't really compare the Bible and the Quran equally. They're just different in nature. The Bible was written in three langauges with many authors, the Quran one language and one author. Of course the Bible has "versions" because it needed to be translated. Is the English version of the Quran a new version of the Quran? I can find three English versions with different wordings. Am I supposed to learn Arabic to read the true Quran? Islam is cultural. Christianity in not, it's for everyone!

my friend...kindly research. I have seen that people say things without doing deep research. Do reseach yourself...Pick bible, pick Quran read both of them chapter by chapter...you will find similarity in both of them which means Quran validates the same message which is in Bible...and the source is the same which revealed these books. Kindly try to understand about their teachings..both books are wonderful only difference is Bible has several different versions and Quran is only in 1 version.

Contradiction #2 is also not one. Luke's genealogy starts at Adam and goes to David. Matthew's genealogy starts at Abraham and goes to David. When the genealogies arrive at David, they split with David's sons: Nathan (Mary's side, Luke) and Solomon (Joseph's side, Matthew). Therefore, one genealogy is of Mary and one of Joseph--even though both mention Joseph. Mary was counted "in" Joseph and under his headship. Mary's is the biological line according to prophecy, Joseph's is the legal line.

Contradiction #1 is not one at all. Jesus was saying He is God (Jn 10:30) and the Jews knew it, verse 33. Also read Exodus 3:14 and John 8:58 where Jesus claims to be God. Jesus by stating in Jn 14:28 "the Father is greater than I" was not denying that He was God. He was merely acknowledging the fact that He was also a man. Jesus has two natures, both God and man. As a man He was simply in a lesser position than the Father. Also read Phil. 2:5-8 on Jesus.

You're quoting from the Quran. My comment was based on the Bible which differs a lot from the Quran. Did you even read John 10:33, how about you read verses 22-33. The Jews asked if He was the Christ (Messiah) not a prophet. They did not want to kill Jesus like the other prophets were killed, but rather, "for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God" (v33). Obviously Jesus made a claim they didn't like. The Quran seems like pieces of the Bible scattered and twisted. Compare them!

You can't really compare the Bible and the Quran equally. They're just different in nature. The Bible was written in three langauges with many authors, the Quran one language and one author. Of course the Bible has "versions" because it needed to be translated. Is the English version of the Quran a new version of the Quran? I can find three English versions with different wordings. Am I supposed to learn Arabic to read the true Quran? Islam is cultural. Christianity in not, it's for everyone!

Unfortunately, the major stumbling stone of so many today is that they "lean" on their "own understanding;" for Jesus tells us in Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean NOT on your own understanding." So, when someone says the Bible doesn't make sense, just remember that some things will not be understood til we see Jesus.

Jesus never asked for forgiveness for Himself,because He never sinned.He taught the disciples how to pray,but when He prayed to the Father he never asked for forgiveness.He was the one who was worshiped in all the gospels.

If he did not sin he did not have to ask for forgiveness. Of course he had to teach people how to pray and he had to show them how to pray too, that is not a question.
He went further fell on his face and prayed, and asked God to to protect him from his enemies. When he was in the cross he complained to God for forsaking him. A SON is begotten whether or not the word begotten is there.. also the the NT is written in GREEK.. the word MONOGENES means ONLY BEGOTTEN OR UNIQUE or ONE AND ONLY.. all mean the same thing and there is no difference.. nothing is on shaky ground.. look up the definition of begotten from answersdotcom.. means generate.. fire begets heat.. violence begets more violence.. not necessarily sexual

i told you.. Jesus is "begotten" IN A WAY NOBODY ELSE IS!! He wasn't biological or created.. How can God have a biological SON?? He is the UNIQUE Son of God.. Som translate "Only Begotten" to UNIQUE because the greek word is monogenes and also means UNIQUE.. He is a SON IN A WAY NOBODY ELSE IS! NOT LIKE ADAM OR ANY CREATION! I hihgly recommend you type "Ahmed deedat on jesus" He is a scholar in competitive theology and he gives exact references from the book So you will be satisfied. In one of the episode how he clearly explains the oigin of jesus and how he mentioned about Muhammed to come.
