Actually, I have no idea what year you were born. I just figured that, since you rememeber sketches like this one and this was popular during the Generation X era, that was your time period. On top of that, most people who find fault with the way that "Sesame Street" is now, grew up in between the time that the baby boomers were children and the time that they started to have children of their own.

It's awesome Roosevelt Franklin Elementary School sketches like this that make me want to see more. Mentioned on the Muppet Wiki is a RFES skit where the whole class exercises. Does anyone remember that (I haven't seen it at all)?

I remember this skit continued. Hardhead read the letter and it said, "Here is here, there is there, you got a hard head under your hair!" That caused Hardhead to get angry and Roosevelt said, "It's a good thing I'm here and he's there, I can get a head start!" And Hardhead started chasing Roosevelt all over the classroom and out the door.

I saw on Muppet Wiki that Roosevelt Franklin will be making a cameo appearance in the season 40 finale. Of course, that's a while from now. But still, it'll be great to see him again!

I remember the Rosevelt Franklyn series of clips that took place in a football field, with a Howard Cosell voiced anything muppet doing the color commentary. The first one is him and the gang counting to 10 3 times, and the 2'nd one is of Baby Breeze playing a football pop quiz about crossing the street. Those 2 or 3 football segments showed what went on outside of Roosevelt Franklin's Elementary School and the theme song was much faster.
