To this day I still remember that PEEK(-16384) is used to read the keyboard. I used that function so many times, it's permanently burned into my brain. :-)

This song is "Radio2 - NoiseBlaster" by FTA (Free Tools Association) They made some example programs to show off the Apple ][ GS's Graphics and Audio capabilities. (back in the day of corse =)

What is a common thing that would make an Apple II crash? I'm working on a website and I want to add a crash screen with info.

A "POKE" statement I tried once than can oly be undone by another... (The "crash" is only ever on the RAM in theory... You can make the keboard useless by giving the wrong port number). A "crash" screen may look like a bunch of characters filling up the screen... some flashing, some inverted... the rest just normal.
