  • wow euh wtf

  • I had some problem distinguishing between the Hungarian and Klingon.. No offence...

  • Hungarian sounds more like an alien language than Klingon! :D

  • What is it with Star Trek and Hungarians? I feel like the majority of videos should be in English, but apparently it's more popular there. xD

  • sounds russian almost almost but am neither so i cant pick out the differnces

  • I'd love to see an episode of any star trek series translated into Klingon.

  • I love Seven's musical nonchalance

  • I read somewhere that when Lucy Lawless had to sing as Xena, she would do it in Bulgarian -- figuring that an American audience wouldn't be able to tell the difference between that an ancient Greek (also Balkan).

  • Whoah, I kept wondering why it sounded like they were dubbed at one point but then realised it was Hungarian XD I have a friend from Serbia who translated for me XP

  • @N3RDYG0GGLES Is it a coincidence that Hungarian sounds so similar to Klingon?

  • I had a hungarian girlfriend once, she looked like a Klingon :D

  • lol it seems like neelix has an annoying voice in every language

  • being a primarily american english speaker, i've always thought that this is an example of what star trek is supposed to sound like sans universal translator implants or towerfish. (babel fish if that's too subtle)

  • What is the episode of this song in?

  • lol what language is that? No difference between klingon and the actual language of that clip :D :D :D :D

  • I do not understand Hungarian, but I knew it wasn't Klingon for two reasons. One-I am one of the few people who actually speak Klingon. Two-I remember this episode and this scene is not in Klingon.

  • when did the klingon start?

  • @helgih580 Omg, LMFAO so hard.

This video's awesome, same as the language. Man... I wanna learn some now! Sounds all amazing and fortified and whatnot... Woo!

  • I didn't remember that they spoke the whole episode in klingon...

  • I love Geri Ryan as Seven. She plays it with that all important touch of comedy under the serious Borg persona. Wonderful!

  • so hes speaking klingon in hungarian lol

  • ahahahah, silly me...i thought they were all....o nvm hahahahahaa

  • Actually, the song itself in this (Hungarian) version that Seven and the Doctor sing is in the original English-speaking actors' voices. I mean, the dialogue right before is obviously dubbed, but when they start singing that's actually Jerri Ryan and Robert Picardo singing...they didn't dub it... which I think was great!

  • I love Voyager! The best Star Trek series ever (actually the ONLY Star Trek series I like).

Lol.. I was a bit confused at the start of the video... I thought they were speaking Klingon...lol I was so impressed, thinking "oh my god..they've actually dubbed Voyager in Klingon now?!" .. then I felt um..well... dumb after realizing it was Hungarian (definitely an Earth-language) ..... :-P

    Thanks for posting!

  • This is so cute! =D

  • Does the Doctor's voice double have an Italian accent...or is that just me?

  • I do not like Voyager. But B'Elanna sounds awesome in Hungarian!

  • @senkoasd "Eredeti Klingon nyelven..." :-)

  • Over a 100,000 views. Thank you guys, it means a lot. Next goal: 250,000

  • no offense to the country of Hungary...but i thought he was speaking klingon at the start of the video...

:-DDD

  • which episode is this

  • :)) To my Romanian ear Hungarian does not sound so alien. Or Klingon-like.

:p Klingon sounds more like Polish.

  • Comment removed

  • love it

  • I just wanted to hear the song, man. I wasn't expecting the whole thing to be in Klingon.

  • that Gagh looks good!

  • Nagyon király! :)

  • Hungarian sounded more Klingon than Klingon itself :D

  • Whats the name from this episode?

  • Üdv!

Enyhén meglepődtem, hogy magyarul szólaltak meg! :D

XD

  • "He said, eat this or he'll force it down the gullet of your corpse(!)" XD

  • Hearing Qapla' in a Hungarian accent is pretty awesome. XD

  • ha ha the captain is like WTF?

  • To the English speakers' ear Hungarian is like from another planet itself. No offense, but it is quite different, and attractive. just very different.

  • @nomadnametab Thank you very much, and I'm lucky enough to speak this language. You're comment wasn't offense, on the contrary, I took that as a compliment.

  • @dgyorki Yeah, for moments it's hard to distinguish Klingon and Hungarian. :)

  • @dgyorki insert moronic romanian hate comment here

  • @nomadnametab

indeed, to me, Klingon and Hungarian sound more or less the same...

  • @nomadnametab I know some Slovakians and Polish people and even they say that Hungarian is like no other language.

  • ugly lang .... :F

  • XD To be true... It's hard to guess where the Klingon starts ^^

  • It's better in english...

  • Heck we're just watching it to see that amazingly beautiful and sexy 7 of 9. :-P

  • QAPLA'!

Éljenek a magyar Star Trek rajongók!

  • I'm Hungarian and I was surprised too when heard the Hungarian words. It's interesting to hear that people from abroad(for me) hears Hungarian a German-like language. And as I noticed that there are no Hungarian comments on the first page: Sziasztok magyarok!

  • seven is hot

  • very hot

  • That food at the end looked like shit.

  • Well the Klingon singing is obviously still Jeri Ryan and Robert Picardo. You can't mistake their voices, definitely not hers. The Hungarian threw me at first though. Lol Weird surprise.

  • hungarian is similar to klingon xD

  • @BodzioEntertainment

HAHAHA! I was going to say!!!

  • What the fuck? Why isn't this in English

  • Thank you for everybody for watching this video. Over 70 000 views. Next goal is 100 000. Thanks and keep watchin'.

  • Lol... Klingon - Hungarian star trek :D

  • ETA:20 min star trek voyager starts!!!

  • Hungarians speaking Klingon - sounds identical to the English Klingon, accents and all. :)

  • not hungarian, too slavic or meditarrian, hungarians sound like germans but with diff accents lol

  • Ez a kedvenc nótám :D

  • Naná erre iszik minden magyar klingon!!! XD

  • kaless is the greatest

  • Its Kahless!! Not Kaless! And capitalize his name jeez..

  • Dubbing completely destroys movies.

I'm very glad movies here in Sweden are subtitled.

  • several of those voice actors sound really close their english originals, they did a good job finding matching voices.

  • What language is that ?

  • Hungarian

  • terrible.......I don't mean that hungaian language is terrible. But the way Star Trek Voyager is butchered is terrible. They should have uploaded it in original english version.

  • hungarian

  • 0:41

  • :41

  • Hello whats the name of this episode?

  • Season 6, EP 3 'Barge of the Dead'

    :) enjoy!

  • It's hungarian. You know, in the heart of Europe...

: DDD

  • én is eszt látam magyarul először =)

  • @otteex Czech republic is in the heart of Europe, no offense;)

  • @otteex Fönnvan az is, amikor Tuvok Ponn'Farr-os lesz, a Doki meg énekli neki Az asszony ingatagot. :-D

  • @otteex

    Beszartam

  • What language is this? Lol, I only understand Klingon part where 7 sings...English pls!

  • Something is wrong with my universal translator.

I didn't get a word of that except at 0:32 where the doctor says; " Qapla' ".

  • Not even Kahless at 0:53?

You don't seem to be very good in Klingon:)

  • It's 1 minute 9 seconds of show all in klingon! I missed this episode!

  • It's NOT all in Klingon, dude. But you're very funny.

  • ah, that did seem weird. Norwegian? now I know.

  • WHAT THA!?!? Have you heard norwegian much? This isn't anything like that.

  • whatever, I was just reading other comments about it.

  • How do you replicate moving Gagh?

  • you probably replicate the eggs and let it grow.

  • Both the Hungarian and Klingon is flawless!!!

  • LoveLoveLove!

  • The Gagh was off! It wasn't moving much!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA great one dude!

  • that was a sweet episode

  • i dont understand a word of it,

    but I gave the movie a 5/5

  • I find it ironic that you choose to complain on nations who have dubbed TV series to their native language - and yet you choose to make this comment in your own native language; Norwegian, on an international website, with a miniscule amount of norwegian viewers compared to the rest of the audience.

  • Simple as this: To make a point. If you cant understand that, dont even bother trying... And seriously. Shows loose their meaning when they are dubbed. Everyone with a bit of brain between their ears understands that.

  • Well, it's thanks to the fact that foreign TV shows and movies are subtitled rather than dubbed that Scandinavians and Dutch speak English better than the Germans.

  • jaja :D

  • english please!

  • I love how they make it sound like a drunken Russian soldiers song.

  • I mean exept for the Klingon ofcourse

  • umm... was that klingon the whole time? I guess not, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I love those 2 singing together

    merry christmas

    -Steffi-

  • 'ej HumtaH 'ej DechtaH 'Iw

'ej Doq SoDtaH ghoSpa' Sqral bIQtIq

'e' pa' jaj law' mo' jaj puS

    jaj qeylIS molar mIgh HoHchu'qu'

    :) sing along

  • What episode was this?

  • You should have told that this was not the english ver

  • Yeah, I should've. But maybe wouldn't have wanted to watch it.

  • well I could have my friend translate it for me but I think I've undertood enough this way

  • Okay, when does Klingon end and Hungarian begins?

  • 0:41

can't you hear the voices of Seven and the Doc changing? :) as they start singing it's the original voice in Klingon. (I think Hungarian is totally different from Klingon...)

  • well, both Klingon and Hungarian are agglutinating languages for a start xD

  • B'elana thinks that gagh goes better with egg and lettuce?

  • huh??? hungarian star trek sounds interesting ^^ (I know, that the song isn't hungarian :P )

  • Actor Robert Picardo (The Doctor) is such an extraordinary and gifted actor. His character bonds so well with Seven of Nine making her look fresh, vivid and much more sexy. The relationship between Seven of Nine and Chakotay was openly dry. I wonder if Jeri Ryan and Robert Beltran disagree with the final stories of season 7. They both looked like if they hated the idea of finishing together and needed to tell the Star Trek viewers.

  • It was "The Barge of the Dead" or only "Barge of the Dead"

  • maj

    naD jIH

  • Very well done, translating and overtoning the speech. Enjoyed it.

  • Lol 0:46 did i see tuvok SMILING?!

  • That ain´t tuvok. It´s just a unknown crew member

  • no that was a crewmember and tuvok had just walked off to the right of the camera

    dont be silly

  • they are all speaking in klingon... impressive language...

  • You guys are right: Hungarian is a great language and it's always best to have an overly complicated way of communicating. That's why so many people on the planet speak Hungarian.

  • Is everyone speaking Klingon? lol

  • hungarian is one of the most expressive languages in the world with extreme difficult grammar and its vocabulary is 10 times larger then that of the english

thats the reason for it, that learning english are capable even the most primitive races

  • so speaks the man who's ancestors came from Asia as primitive migrators and settled in Europe stealing land from the Austrians and Romanians. And upgraded their language from those who's land they stole.

  • Romanians were nowhere when Hungarian settled down here and we don't have any linguistic relationship with german or any slavic language. Hungarian is a totally different than any other in Europe. Except Finnish and Estonian.

  • That's not entirely true, and you know that too. We de have some words from them as well.

Anyway, I've forgotten how bad the Hungarian voices were for this show, man I'm glad I've got the original version. :)

  • Romanians didnt even exist, at the time when the hun tribes arrived to the carpathian basin and they still didnt exist after centuries you idiot. Your comment shows, that you know shit about Hungarian history.

  • Ez most kinek szólt??

  • We're closing this section of the conversation about the English-Hungarian arguing. It's a bit long now. Thank you for the good and sometimes less good comments.

  • You are the greatest idiot on this planet my friend.. Better read some book first before u comment something..u jerk>

  • damn whats that? thats english... primitive language... does not even have grammatical cases...

  • yes it does.

  • no genders? sounds rather enlightened to me

  • No genders is actually quite enlightened. No discrimination and if your talking about a person you don't know the gender of, you don't have to call that person him or it which can be rather insulting if your none of the above. Plus their word for human is ember where "em" refers to women and "ber" to men

  • Primitív nyelv a Magyar? Ellentétben a magyarral ami 44 betűből áll

Is Magyar a primitive language? Says this an like that the alphabet of who consists of 26 letters. as opposed to the Hungarian what consists of 44 letters

  • LOL :DDD

    Then learn it ;)

  • @Turorudizabalo Igen

  • Voice is hungarian btw, only the song is klingon.

    Mert magyarul is beszélek :)

  • I was suprised, when I heard the voices, because I'm hungarian ;)

    Thank you :)

  • Kommst du auf Budapest?

  • hey where do you get the star trek voyager vids from?

  • You mean the episodes? I got it from one of my friends. I think he downloaded it from somewhere. Try a torrent page.

  • thank you.

  • Bad day for someone who dosent speak klingonese

  • its hungarian

  • A slavic language. I was relatively close.

  • Nah, still not quite right - hungarian is not a slavic language but a finno-ugric language - not even a part of the indo-european (or indo-germanic)language family. Hehe, sorry - I'm a smartass and proud of it (:

  • finally someone who know a little... :D
