Price of beers starts at 4-5 pounds per beer which is 4-5 euros. And bottles of vine starts around 30-40 pounds. The prices are smilier to Scandinavian prices. It is expensive compared with other thai restaurants but i believe the price is alright for that service and view you get. Ofc its is a dress code, i think everybody will know that you are not allowed in with flip flops or shorts pants.
OMG! This rooftop can get a very spectacular view of Bangkok...Is it really expensive to get up there? If so, I'd still love to try catching a glimpse of the view! What a beautiful city!
Take out a second mortgage. Even now, when they are doing it -very- tough, a standard room will cost you a MINIMUM of 250$ a night (normal price would be around US$ 500 a night).
Love the Banyan Tree brand and the value of their Bangkok property!

been there last last week, awesome view at night and nice drinks - very good bar with dress code;) so no flip flops or short pants
