@UgbajaGP001 Yes, it was around this time (2003-2004) that the 319 fleet was often used by either Thameslink or South Central. Often at East Croydon a TL 319 would arrive on a Watford service and an SC 319 would arrive on a TL service!
It's now a ghost station!! It's still there but only as an access point for the PWAY and also for ventilation. There are some photos of it on my photo site taken on October 25th 2008
i prefer fcc to thameslink. Connex should never of been taken over by southern. Yeh southern trains are newer and for a lot of people nicer but they should of let connex stay and let southern take over fcc
Connex lost their franchise due to their inability to run a service. And Govia's Thameslink wasn't perfect but it's a hell of a lot better than FCCs attempt.
I agree. I think first have taken too much on really. I expect one day we will end up with a railway network dominated by first. They were having enough trouble with their Great Western lines. What on earth made them think they could handle this?
Southern And First Capital Connects New Liverys Are Much Better I Personally Like The Repainted Class 319 In Southern Colours. The First Capital Connect Livery Is Also Extremely Colourful Though Very Eye Catching
The Thameslink livery was a bit drab, personally. The new First Capital Connect livery is really gorgeous -- bright, colourful and strikingly different. Right now, though, it's a weird mess of different colour schemes that needs sorting out :P

I like both, Thameslink cause they used Class 317, First Capital Connect coz they took over Thameslink AND Wagn.
