I agree it is for younger kids who want a really cool transformer. That's basically saying that the David Kaye Optimus Prime is for littler kids (or if you like David Kaye better) and then Peter Cullen(WOOT) Optimus Prime is for more bigger fans. That's just my opinion.

I don't really think this is a bad toy. If it transformed like the voyager class it would be alot better. But, I guess they wanted a big Optimus the youngins could play with. I paid 30 for it, and since I really don't play with my transformers and I just display them it works for me.

Dude, just remember that Transformer's are toys, they are made for kids. Particularly the Animated stuff which has far less retro appeal. It's toys like this that will ensure the Transformers live on once our generation is dead.

Personally, I love it; it's gonna make sure my four year-old does anything I tell him from now til Xmas :P
