Somewhat disappointing, I get it that there is a manga, OVA and a Game. Each have their own concepts but I really think the universe set on the game can become bigger and appealing to more people if developed more. But BRS is still in its cult classic stage,thats why I believe they are testing the waters to see what people want from BRS.The fact givin' that they have invested in 8 episodes is a safe test to see what they want from us.So in a way,we BRS fans are ultimately shaping the BRS Project

They are obviously going to remake the OVA with the first few episodes. Hopefully more is explained about the "Otherworld" and the story is well paced. The action scenes look better than most anime though.I cant wait to see what they come up with.

It doesn't have to be as generic as the OVA's was, and we'll undoubtedly find out more about the "Other Selves" and their motives, which likely will be unrelated to the normal world.

It has the opportunity to tell a more complex story. Just be glad they made an anime at all.
