@pajpower its compatible, but without the 6pin connector its useless, you should get a connecter that connects molex to 6pin converter, bit(dot)ly/nGGHTF , hopefuly you have 2 free molex adapters 0.o

So this card doesn't require a power source what I mean is can I just install the card with out connecting it to my powersupply or do I need to connect it to my powersupply?

@xBFMVHD I just checked for you, acording the my research on the HP website, it certainly will...the Motherboard (MOB) has a PCI E. 2.0 x16 so it will work fine...but only 1 card, no SLI can work on the board, sorry :(

@TARUNSHKR Hey! This video card is definitely supported by the Intel BOXDG31PR (if that's what you're referring to). It has a PCI Express x16, which will fit this card into. Like I said, make sure you have a 6-pin power cable though! There are cables you can buy to convert 2 standard power cables to one 6-pin. Try NewEgg! Good luck!

@58zbig Hey! It is a very quiet and low to average operating temperature. Not sure exactly what the temperatures are.. might have to look it up. Sorry! Also, I do not use Linux for my main desktop. I use Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. Should be no problem at all for use with Linux though. Cheers!
